It's nine years post war. Hermione has just had a traumatic break-up with her fiance, Theodore Nott. Hurt and disillusioned with her life, she retreats to a cottage in rural Ireland that she inherited from a great-aunt. You'll never guess who else has been living a peaceful life in the Muggle world in the same small village for the past eight years.

I am a Harry Potter fanfic fanatic, I only discovered it after the release of DH. Disapointed that the series was ending, I read some blurb about fan fiction (which I had never heard of before) clicked a link and 'voila' I was hooked. I started out reading mostly Dramione, but evolved and although I still like DM/HG, my OTP is SS/HG. I also enjoy reading LM/HG and 3-somes with SS/HG/LM or DM/HG/BZ. As you can see I love seeing Hermione paired with those lovely Slytherin men.
After reading for nearly 2 years, I started writing a bit of my own, mostly shorter drabbles or ficlets. I've written seveal stories for fests, such as the SS/HG exchange, the LM/HG exchange, and the LuciusBigBang, fest among others.

You can't tell me those guys were not spying on Hermione and Snape little conversation. If Hermione never felt loved and wanted before she is sure to now with a room full of wizards waiting to defend her honor.

Well, you know there had to be at least a couple pair of extendable ears in that group somewhere. :)And you're so right, she really has so many people wanting to protect and defend her.
Oh boy! I would love to be a fly on the wall right about now.I just love how this plot is progressing. And I think it's wonderful that you have brought Greg into it as a good guy.I can hardly wait to see what happens next.

Glad you approve. As I've told others, it was weird I really didn't plan to have Greg in the story. But when Neville showed up for the meeting he brought Greg along with him and they demanded that I write him a part. LOL! It actually worked out well, king of balanced out the Gryffs and the Slyths. :)
Now this ia a good thing. My thinking is that what this group of revenge artists really need is a woman's point of view. A woman will be able to get under Nott's defenses and hit him where it will really hurt. I can't wait to see what happens next. Oh and the making up is good too! Thanks for sharing as always, JoAnne

Oh oh Severus has a lot of explaining to do lol. Maybe Herimone will want to get in on the fun. *Grins* Glad they made up and i'm happy Harry is going to mind is own business.

Oh yes he does! And Hermione will definitely want to get in on it as she had already made some plans on her own. I'm glad they made up too, can't have our fave pair at odds for too very long!
She knows they only want to help, but still frustrating when other want to do for you what you need to do yourself. Glad to see Severus and Hermione back together! Now, to see her reaction to their "meeting!"

That was a delightful chapter. I'm sure Hermione is going to get a kick out of her "boys" getting together to defend her honor. I love how Severus forgot about everything else the second she kissed him. Thanks for the fun read.

I LOVE Paddy - he's like us the reader personified into your story!Too funny on Luna giving Hermione the kiss; best way to test her. I wonder what the boys will think of it if they find out?Looking forward to seeing what happens next!

hoping for a real conversation with HG and SS soon, I enjoyed the encounter of DD with HP, very civil and what I imagine it should be after the war since all was revealed. I love stories were Harry is actually a mature rational human where Severus is concerned. Good job.

I like to think that Harry would be more mature and rational, it is nine years later after all. Hopefully he would have out grown those childish behaviours.

Very sweet chapter. Severus seems to have mellowed since leaving the wizarding world and I think it has done him a world of good. :) I'm wondering how Hermione would feel if she ever found out Severus was peaking through her bedroom window and seen her naked lol

Thanks. I like to think that Severus would be able to mellow and relax a bit after living a quiet life for so many years, without the pressures he had to put up with before. Hmm... I'm thinking that Hermione would not be too happy to think of him seeing her (even if he was in spy mode). I wonder if he'll ever tell her about it, years later.
*rubs hands together* I can't wait to see what Severus has in mind for that tosser Nott. And with the help of Harry and the others this should be very interesting.
