I've just started this story and I am enjoying it so much.  

I've just finished reading both your fics and I really enjoyed them.  I like how your write their thought processes and emotions but without going into a crazy amount of detail.  I sometimes feel writers think readers can't think for themselves and therefore have to write heaps of detail.  I like your Severus, he's still himself but a little sweet, just how I love him.Here's a challenge for your next fic, see if you can write an entire story without using the word "indeed". LOL.

Your Severus is delightful!  Kind of a grouch, but not needlessly cruel.  I really think this is one of the best characterizations I've seen, because it's so understated.  Though really, with his complexion?  Purple?  I'm thinking purple would make him look sallow and ill.  But your color choices are not the point, your story is!  And it's a lovely story.  I squee'd.  Happy endings are joy.

I'm so glad all that angs and URST has been resolved.A delightful ending to a delightful tale. Sweet, but still in character. I esepcially liked Snape's determination to get to the bottom of her reason for leaving Hogwarts. He had a right to know. I'm glad he insisted that she spill the beans.And his heart-pounding proposal on the dance floor was priceless.Great job!

In response to Elizabeth's review - I just can't see Severus running after her.  I think the only way he would ever make the first move was if Hermione's life was in danger or if he was in serious contention of losing her forever (and maybe not even the latter one).  I think Hermione needs to make the first move.  Severus is just too stubborn.

And I know I already reviewed but I have been thinking about this fic and am always seeing if I have a message in my inbox that it was updated!  Love it!  Haven't found another fic like it yet!

This tale is marvelous. What I like most about it is the sense of reality. They are both so very much in character. And there is lots of angst without some complicated and terrifying string of events that has thrown them together.

I like that you tell the story from Hermione's POV so Snape's thoughts and motivations remain somewhat of a mystery.

And their relationship is progressing in a healthy and realistic way. He has a short fuse, but he has mellowed enough to know when an apology is necessary. And he is not too proud or stubborn to give it.

I just started this a couple of days ago and didn't want to stop reading to review until I had run out of chapters.  But I am really lame, and didn't get around to reviewing.  I will do so now.  I am really loving this story!  I think your characters are spot on.  Hermione may be a little more gutsy than usual, but I like that.

Everytime those two are alone together, I brace myself for a deluge of angst, but it has never really happened.  I hope that continues to be the case, but I fear Hermione may push him farther than he is ready to go at some point.  I really hope I am wrong!

I really liked his explanation for how he survived.  It is original, sweet, and sad.

I will be looking very forward to the next update!

Harpy is a good word for Lisa.  I really enjoyed Hermione's interactions with Severus.  And the tale of the house-elf was quite touching.

I like the progression in their relationship, slow but steady. :)
