Voldemort is dead. As others around her comb through the bodies and help the wounded, Hermione Granger thinks of only one wizard. A wizard who gave everything and died without anything to show for it, but the lives of those who survived because of him. A wizard who deserved a second chance; something Hermione would go to great lengths to make that happen.

Seriously, Echo is my real first name lol. For those who are actually curious, I was named after Echo Sackett in the 'Sackett Family Series' written by Louis La'mour. My mom wanted to name me 'Jennifer', but my she had already chosen my brother's name and dad insisted. I have to say, growing up, I hated my name. Now I LOVE it. If anything, its a great conversation opener in most situations lol.
Anyways, I have been a member of the HP FanFiction community since I stumbled across it in October of 2006. I had never heard of fan-fiction at that time... the story I found was called 'The Unseemly Proposal' - a Dramione. I thought it would be a waste of my time... but it got me hooked on fan-fiction. December 2006 I posted the first chapter of CHANGES UNFORSEEN, my own Dramione, which was also the FIRST thing I had ever written...(not counting forced essays and such in my school days.) Needless to say its snowballed since then and I have five seemingly popular WIP's that my Wonderful Beta SU has perfected and made into actual read-able stories! Yay for everyone, right? lol.
A SPEACIAL THANK YOU TO EVERYONE (SU!) WHO HELPED ME ACHEIVE 'APRIL 2009 FEATURED STORY'! I LOVE YOU GUYS! *HUGS*

The staff seem to accepted her offer easily. Perhaps no-one else wanted to do the job? :)
Response from EchoLynn (Author of The Antidote)
Not really... remember that the staff were busy fixing the castle from the battle damage... burying loved ones... prepareing for the new year... lots going on, you know?
She's a girl on a mission! :)
Response from EchoLynn (Author of The Antidote)
Lol... Thanks for reading! ;)
Ron and Harry come across as so very immature and self-absorbed. Interesting though.
Response from EchoLynn (Author of The Antidote)
Lol... well, thats how I tend to see them when compared to Hermione... which is why I don't ship Hermione/Ron lol... Thanks for reading! *HUGS*
Oh, poor thing. At least it's just two months, but I can only imagine the time will crawl by. :( But it could be worse. It could be longer. I hope she emerges okay mentally. I'm sure the lack of Dementors will help with that. And the she's in Severus' charge. I love how curious he is. Should make for interesting conversations if he decides to ever ask her. lol
Response from EchoLynn (Author of The Antidote)
Thanks so much for reading and reviewing! *HUGS*
wow, poor hermione. What a terrible situation. I'm glad there are no dementors. Keep going. I am interested and want to keep reading.
Response from EchoLynn (Author of The Antidote)
Thank you ;) More is on its way...
Things look bleek for our dear Hermione. But they could be worse, so much worse. Two months with the right attitude could do her some good, although it would be very hard to have a good attitude in a place like this. She just needs to keep reminding herself why she ended up here, and that her sacrifice will be worth it in the end.
Response from EchoLynn (Author of The Antidote)
Thank you so much for reading and reviewing... *HUGS*
that was brilliently argued by severus. wonderful update. thanks and christmas and channaka smoochies.

Response from EchoLynn (Author of The Antidote)

I'm glad Minerva is looking to deal with discrimination, I just hope she doesn't fall into a trap of becoming what she is trying to get rid of.
Response from EchoLynn (Author of The Antidote)
no, she won't. :) Just wait till you see what I have planned... *HUGS* Thanks for reviewing!
How sad, yet touching. I'm glad you gave him a burial as I don't think Jo even got the body of the Shrieking Shack, at least not that I remembered.
Response from EchoLynn (Author of The Antidote)
Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! *HUGS*
How heartbreaking to come across all those potions in his bathroom, made me very sad :( I am really looking forward to H starting her plan to get Snape back. Excellent chapter, can't wait for more :) SGx
Response from EchoLynn (Author of The Antidote)
Thank you so much! *HUGS*
So, Minerva is going to discriminate another way. Interesting. And I love that Hermione has her underlying task going. The elves probably know what she is doing, anyway.
Response from EchoLynn (Author of The Antidote)
Lol... wait till you guys see what is in store... Thanks for reading and reviewing! *HUGS*
Oooooh, Minerva -- bad idea to keep the bigots out. It converts no hearts and solidifies resentments to intractability. But this is a terrific story. More, please!
Response from EchoLynn (Author of The Antidote)
Well... keep reading lol.
