AWW this is so squeal worthy!! Is there a second part to this?? it needs it!! Lol well it doesnt need it but I want one *pouts* the story was brillantly written, I loved it!
This was absolutely lovely! I would so much like to see more of this!
Is Hermione still wearing the eyepatch in the kissing scene? Because "she closed her eyes trustingly" and I never saw her remove the eyepatch... just a continuity thing :)
Very nice. I wish you'd continue on with this story. I like this version of Severus & Hermione.
This was absolutely wonderful! Truffles to you - Sara
this was really fun to read.
I found Severus' awkward inexperience much more believable than the notion of him as some kind of Slytherin sex god. This story was very sweet, touching, funny at the same time... loved it!
Very cute and endearing! Poor Severus feeling a bit put upon, but very promising for him! ;)
Wonderful story, I had a great time reading it.

This was a great diversion when it was four o'clock this morning and I realized we'd lost hot water and heat in the hotel. I'm in England, so that's a rather dire circumstance, but I was pleasantly distracted while reading this. Thanks. :P
Author's Response: Thanks. Glad to be of help!
What a sweet story, and I didn't find anything that was terribly OOC (well, not to me anyway)! I nearly laughed out loud when Severus asked "Are you sniffing me?" It reminded me of the first time I sniffed my then-boyfriend, now-husband--he had pretty much the same incredulous reaction. Now he doesn't bat an eyelash, proving that men can be trained. I'm sure Hermione will have similar results with Severus, and I'd love a sequel story if the Muse strikes you. Thanks for sharing this!
Your warning said, "Out of Character," but I disagree. Perhaps Hermione's many lovers over one summer could fall into that catagory, but certainly not her behavior towards Snape, or his reactions toward her. This was wonderful and quite believable.

Thanks. I have now erased the 'Out of Character' warning, after hearing repeatedly that it wasn't necessary.
I loved this! I didnt find Severus out of character at all. I enjoyed the tone of their conversation, and Hermione teaching him how to hug. Though this did seem a tad abrupt for a one-shot..it felt/sounded a lot more like the beginning of a longer story than a oneshot. Could this possibly be continued? I love what you've done with their characters and would really enjoy some more of their conversations. Great story!

Hmm, felt quite finished to me. :) I'm not one for writing long stories; always seem to get stuck at some point. Maybe if someone could give me a few plot ideas/ story line...

I think a longer story dealing with Hermione's graduation and subsequent distance from Hogwartswould be great. I can invision the graduation day, with another walk in the garden maybe, and a goodbye kiss that starts to be more but Snape pulls away, because he is so overwhelmed by the physical and emotional intimacy that he can't handle it and pushs her away. Hermione moves to her flat but opens her fireplace to the Hogwarts Floo network. I see Snape not wanting to use their Floo connection, fighting it and arguing with himself of all the reasons he should never see her again, but ultimately giving in and seeing her , which results in a gradual-yet-earthshattering reformation of eveything he knows about physical intimacy. Hot lemons would be a plus of course!!
Dear wingless.
That was just absolutely charming.
The to and fro between them is so believable, dynamic and cute, I had a smile on my face the entire time.
Very well done!!!
Lovely, I enjoyed that a lot.
So cute and inexperienced!
Very sweet, charming, and cute. Reminded me of a '40s screwball comedy. Very believable and true to character. Would love to see a sequel. Great job!

Lovely word, isn't it? Educated insults... It's so Snape!
