My favorite part was these 2 lines I don’t terrorise children because I’m in emotional pain. It amuses me in my quieter moments. Its a shout out to all the hurt/comfort stories where Severus cannot be blamed because he too suffered abuse.

Oh, but despite her assertion that this is it, there's no turning back, surely there is more to this correspondence!  Nicely done.

Mmm, very good. Hermione is a fiesty one isn't she? I love, LOVE, her response letter, it completely conveys her true personality. She's not one to take any crap, and romance is not her weak spot, not by a long shot. That was very well done, and I enjoyed reading it very very much. Thanks for a great story!Sue :o)

When I started reading I was trying to understand what was wrong with her, really harsh beginning. But when I kept on reading I saw her point and I found her broken heart. She was in pain.

Indeed not a sweet Hermione, but I prefer to see her in this way, a strong and stubborn woman who won't be break and that will stand by her decisions no matter what.
