the picture at the end of this chapter is stellar.  I often ignore pictures if they don't line up with my mental image of the characters, but the end picture is very well done here.

wow.  it's so funny, seeing malfoy's proposition being offered from hermione's point of view.  we know what's going on in malfoy's head from past chapters, but he just can't put it into words and he seems arrogant and official... ha!  i thought it was quite funny.  the "are you seeing anyone" question was just priceless.and honestly?  I love the malfoy stationary :)

Squeeeee I just love all the extras in this chapter, I mean the letter from Narcissa and the note from the journal. They are so cool. Tell me this: How can Draco offer her unlimited funds for her reasearch when it sounds like he is short on cash? Draco must really be paranoid if he is even monitoring the time it took him to "ask her to tea" He thinks this blackmailer is omnicent doesnt he?

As always I adored the chapter. You have set the stage for so many things I cant tell where one plot point starts and another ends. I am hooked! I am not pleased with Miss Bell or Mr. Ron Weasley. I wanted Draco to ask Hermione out but I figure thats a bit premature. ((pouts))

I like the idea of Charlie and Hermione on and off again. Especially how it doesnt appear to bother Ron. Whew! Pansy is a lot smarter than I think Draco gives her credit for.  I hope she meets someone who hates purple too.

have you read "Sorcery and Cecelia, or, The Enchanted Chocolate Pot" by Patricia C Wrede and Caroline Stervemer?  I just realized during this chapter that there is another case of a convenient relationship to fool others, which ends in true love (of course)!  If you haven't read this book, you should.  It's a combo Regency Romance and Fantasy book.As always, I love your writing and cannot wait for more!

So something did happen between Greg and Pansy. I never would have thought Greg wouldnt be a kiss and tell kind of guy... No more filler chapters young lady give me Draco and Hermione horiztonal! Im kidding I know thats at least 40 chapters off. First we have to solve the mystery!!

It's hard to know if Lucius' words are true. He seems very good at double talk, as all Slytherins are I suppose, so I'm wary of his denial in the participation with the LaStrange's. We'll see...A grown man now instead of a spoiled child. It's nice to see his new maturity. Looking forward to draco's interactions during Quidditch.
