I wonder if Narcissa actually intends to marry Harry or if she is planning for Lucius to put his act together by the thougth of being replaced by a much younger man, and the hero of the Wizarding World to boot?  I do think that Harry betrayed Hermione almost just as much as Ron, and Ginny has every bit the rigth to stop trusting him when he could cover for such actions, almost as if he approved of them. And while he can't be blamed for wanting a family, he can be blamed for not respect Ginnys wish of continuing her carreer for a little while. So, yes, Harry deserves Narcissa, but Ginny does actually deserve someone better than both Harry and Draco. As for Hermione, she should count her blessing for getting rid of Ron the prat, but as much as I love the Hermione / Severus pairing, I am not sure I want her to ever forgive Severus for his scheeme here, no matter how much he migth, or migth not, regret it afterwards. He would likely regret being caugth, but no man with a honorable bone in his body would ever enter into such a bet in the first place. Then again, he does, along with his faithful friends, have a nice tattoo showing just how brilliant they are at making "smart" decissions, not..... Nope, as much as I love a happy ending, I am also hoping that for once, Severus (and Draco) will have to feel some of the pain they inflict on others, and that no sloppy excuses will make up for their idiot, childish and cruel behaviour. And, I am so looking forward to read more!

Harry and Narcissa? I can imagine Lucius keeling over and dying of shock if he gets wind of that one! Not to mention Ginny. I have a feeling Severus and Draco might find themselves falling for Hermione and Ginny respectively, but with a bitter Lucius egging them on, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't blow any budding romances all to hell. I can't wait to see what actually happens though. Great update, can't wait for the next one!

I was wondering how you'd fully separate Ginny and Harry, but this does make sense.  He wants kids, she wants them now, it ties the Black blood back to the Black inheritance...I do hope we get to continue watching Harry and Narcissa, as that promises to be even more amusing than the main characters in the summary as she wins him over.

Wow.  I suppose it's a little sexist of me to be rooting for Hermione and Severus and feel uncomfortable about Harry and Narcissa.  Perhaps it could all end well...  Although I doubt blondes are Harry's type.

What?!  Can't wait to find out Cissy's resoning for that!  the interactions between Hermione, Ginny, Draco, Severus, and Lucius were quite amusing.  Hermy and Sev were trying to be civil, but the other three were just going at it.  Very amusing.  Can't wait for more.

Wow, not the person I thought Narcissa would marry...but serves multiple purposes: ticks off Lucius, makes the bet more interesting, all sorts of fun stuff.  I loved how Snape is going to start trying to get close to Hermione by taking her to a bookstore.  Would work for me.Look forward to seeing the next chapter.

I love how Lucius and Snape both enter the bet ending up doing things that they were going to/have tried to do already.  It's true Slytherin how they manipulate the bet.This is a good start, the marriage law challenge is one of my favorites to read.
