Oh, I'm so glad you decided to archive this here! It is such a beautiful piece and deserves attention. I was quite astonished  when something this wonderful was born from my silly little prompt. There is such amazing detail in your description of the office. I quite felt I was there, peering over Hermione's shoulder. My relief at hearing Severus' final words was possibly as great as Hermione's!

That's a sweet little tale, very well written. I do have some - perhaps rather personal - problem with it, though... reading someone's private journal or diary is something so horrible to my imagination, such a breach of privacy... even if he intends her to read it, just her thinking about reading it is absolutely atrocious for me.

Author's Response: Funny you should mention that because I too have a problem with it. It gave me pause while I was writing, but since I was writing for a prompt and this fit it in my mind I continued. But thank you for the kind words!
