It's so original revisiting his life with all the scars that had made him who he is now. It's a wonderful work.

Thank you for thinking it original and for reading and reviewing. As I said in my notes the idea was sparked by a conversation with my other half about the scars we all carry. The idea and Severus linked in my odd mind and...well you read the result.

It's so nice that he's found something good in what was a horrid life. Some of those descriptions of his father put tears in my eyes.

I tend to think in images as such trying to capture in words the image I have in my mind is important to me. The odd poetic phrase creeps in as a result. I'm happy you enjoyed it.

I love how his life is told through his various scars, each one a reminder of a key point in his life. I've never seen a story that uses his scars in such a way, and it seems to me, now that I have, that it is a story whose importance is too great not to be told.
