Just gradually working my way through your fics to date; I simply can't get enough of your stuff now! I know I've told you before, but I will say it again (at the risk of looking like a creep!) but you really are the most amazing writer!This was pure heaven - and oh for a kiss like that, eh?!Severus at his best I'd say (and just the way I see him - snarky and sneaky but with a deep compassion and tenderness hidden within.) Your writing is in a class of it's own and streets ahead of most others I read/review. (No blushing here; you deserve the praise - I don't often flatter so freely!) :-)

Ahhh ... You are too good to me. I had intended to go back into some of the earlier things I've written (such as this) and tidy the bits of clunky writing ... the passive voice, the repetitive speech attributes. It's the type of thing that bothers me when I look back at my work, but then I'm so relieved to read reviews like this and know it doesn't detract so totally as to make the piece unenjoyable.Thank you so much for your kind words!!

Nice story! And I'm also really enjoying your Murder of Crows.Here's a critical thought on the lines:“I’m glad to hear it,” she told him with a cheeky smile. “Does your plan involve a trip to your quarters and shagging each other senseless?” “It does now,” he said. “Shall we?”I imagine He would have some sort of response when She so perhaps not unexpectedly cut to the chase. Of course your readers know what's up -- but not necessarily the details of The Plan and neither does he. Showing us another of his physical reactions from her (and now's the time where he can take a step back before going forward, or do something surprising) will help give the reader a moment of pause too to let her bold suggestion sink in. It might even heighten the tension.Thank you so much for sharing your work!

That's an excellent point - his reaction to her statement would allow the tension to build a bit, and probably even serve to make his response seem more humorous. Thanks so much for the feedback and for reading!!!

Loved the way Severus thought out his plan and the way her mood ruffled his feathers. Really lovely. AND that kiss - my toes curled! I think he should let her do all the planning from now on.
