how random for them to end up in good Ole' Texas. I'm from Dallas/Austin so it was a pleasant surprise :)
Fun story. I had to laugh about the restaurant. You must be familiar with Dallas. I used to live in a little town just East of Plano. Seems I remember an El Fenix on the northbound side of 75. Perfect place for SS and HG to show up, though, just because of the name. I've never actually eaten there.
you know, i like tex-mex food an awful lot, but it would have to be damn good to get me out of bed on my honeymoon night with tall, dark and surly! but i liked that he had already anticipated the desire. : )

Teehee, I don't think anyone going to Portus missed the opportunity to eat there!There are lots of people from Texas in the fandom, quite a few authors, too. :)
