It's really good so far, but the cliffhanger was pure evil.

Thank you for a brilliant update, I really liked it. I can understand some of Severus frustration, mostly I guess because I want them safely together for the rest of their life as soon as possible:-) That said, I am so happy that there is finally some progress in discovering just what Burbage is doing to the Slytherin students.

That's really mean of you to end it there.So, Burbage isn't keeping up the Charms that keep the Black Lake where it belongs as evidenced by the Slytherins smelling like wet dogs and Betty's latest remark.What I want to know is whether he's just letting the wards fail unremarked, or if he's been deliberately undermining them during his tenure as Head of Slytherin.I'm thinking Hermione will have the evidence she needs when Severus gets into that Common Room.Happy writing, melusin!*pouts**wants update*

Poor Hermione, she didn't deserve this. That is the one unforgivable thing to do, to call the woman in your bed by another womans name, no matter what kind of relationship you have to the one in your bed and not in your mind.  Add that Hermione knows just how much Lily ment for Severus, I don't think she can forgive this, I am rather sure she shouldn't forgive this, that is, she migth be allowed to forgive him, but there should never be another relationship between them except as colleguas and distant friends. As for Severus, I must admit that I have whished him all the best in the world in this fic, I sincerely think he deserves it, but it doesn't include Hermione any more. Obviously he still has issues with his feelings for Lily, it is his choice weather he want to spend the rest of his life klinging to her memory or move on, but he should make up his mind before he let another woman spend the nigth and then "thank" her for services rendered by calling her by a past loves name. Yup, very, very, very dissepointed in Severus, I actually thougth better of him.

Ah, hopefully Hermione fair will give Severus another chance.  Very nice chapter, although I felt bad for Hermione in the end part.  But, of course, Purdy has hopefully saved the day.

Exellent fun!  And I like tha t Hermione acts mature even though she is hurt.  She holds on to her pride and her manners insead of having a hissy fit.  I love this story.  I took a break from writing to read your new chapter.
