Reviews for Revenge in Hot Blood
Very well done and with a twist at the end!
Response from septentrion (Author of Revenge in Hot Blood)
Thank you!
Yup this is the story i was looking for! Creepy and more than a bit disturbing, it will fit nicely into the vampire quiz I am working on. Thanks!

It's supposed to be disturbing :) What disturbs me most, actually, is that I wrote that while pregnant.
Response from MollysSister (Reviewer)
Since M has survived her infancy without being sucked dry by a newly made vampire Id say we should call it a win!!
omg, no mother would do thathence, i deem it unrealisticbut still kinda good, lol
Response from septentrion (Author of Revenge in Hot Blood)
No human mother would do that, but Hermione isn't human anymore. Thanks for reading.

Chilling ending, my blood ran cold. Great story, dark and dreadful I loved it. One question, why was Severus so focused on Hermione?
Response from septentrion (Author of Revenge in Hot Blood)
"My blood ran cold" is a fitting description for a vampire story! Severus was focused on Hermione because when he saw her, he was struck by the vampires' mating instinct that makes them choose someone who would be compatible with their character and way of life once that someone is turned. Of course, this is something I totally made out as part of the background of this story. Thanks for reading.

cool. Got rid of aRon and the kids in one go.
Response from septentrion (Author of Revenge in Hot Blood)
Well, the kids have done nothing to deserve that fate, but that wouldn't bother a vampire. Thanks for reading.

Thanks for the warning because the end is very -I don't even think there is a word for it. It's very disturbing to think she's eating her own baby.
Response from septentrion (Author of Revenge in Hot Blood)
I think too it's disturbing, not that it prevented me from writing it. But this time, I wanted to explore the darker side of human nature, because even though the story is about vampires, human beings are able to think that kind of horrors.

You warned me, I should have listened. Well written though.
Response from septentrion (Author of Revenge in Hot Blood)
Yes, I put all warnings I could get my hands on, but still, I'm glad you think it's well written.

Normally I like dark angsty stories, I just wasn't prepared for the ending of this one. I think our culture is so geared toward happy endings that when you don't get one it throws you for a loop.Your a great writer. I have enjoyed some of your longer fics, Geneamorology is one of the first stories I read on fan fiction.
Response from septentrion (Author of Revenge in Hot Blood)
Thank you for the compliment. I like happy endings like the next fanfic reader, but sometimes, it doesn't fit. It was one of those cases.

Harsh. Very harsh. Not sure if the ending was a bit too much, the jury is still out, but the rest of it was great. Nice one.

Keep in mind that Severus is 200 % evil here, colpletely soulless. Having Hermione feeding on her newborn baby is like a game for him. Thanks for reading anyway.
Response from helshez (Reviewer)
I've been thinking about this fic all morning, and the jury has returned a verdict; it's sick, but there is no other way it could have gone down. Still, on a practical note, it's not much of a meal for a neonate vampire to satisfy her hunger. Maybe you could do a sequel where she sucks Ron (and not in the fun way either!)
Response from septentrion (Author of Revenge in Hot Blood)
All morning? I'm very flattered. And of course a little baby won't be enough, it was just an apéritif, but admit it was a lot easier to bring a small baby in a tomb than an adult. And really, Severus couldn't help the irony of feeding her her own baby. As for a sequel, alas, none is in sight. It'd have been fun in fact to write a multi-chaptered story with that premise, but real life really interferes with my writing this year.

That was disturbing in every way. Intriguing plot, though.

It was meant to be disturbing. Thanks for reading in spite of the warnings!

Ick! I knew this story would go nowhere good. There have been a lot of stories that take icky twists at the end lately. Regardless of the subject being icky, it was definitely well-written and creative.
Response from septentrion (Author of Revenge in Hot Blood)
And there were warnings, so you knew it'd be icky ;) It's been icky to write as well, but the plot bunny wouldn't budge. That said, I'm glad you appreciated it nonetheless.

Oh, wow. Just wow. Very well written, Septentrion! I never knew from one paragraph to the next exactly how it was going to play out.
