Bravo Hermione! You tell him! Hehe... I wonder how Snape will react to this though. It's very nice to see that Ron and Harry are taking this whole business in such a (calm) mature way - It'll be interesting to see how they will work it out with their 'guests' - poor boys. Then again, Hermione is not having the time of her life either. Poor trio... Then again Snape is just being Snape really - they really shouldn't be expecting anything else - so poor Snape too. The way I see this, Snape has no chance whatsoever in this battle. He is in against a woman! But it's still nice to see him kicking.

I mean, at the beginning of the chapter, when Hermione came home alone, I was so worried! And when she curled up in Severus bed. . . my heart was aching.

And then at the very end, when he said 'I'd like to make love to you' it ached again. .  . but it was a good ache.

I liked it very much. There was just enough suspense to make me anxious to read through quickly, to the end of the chapter, so I could find out the truth. This was even in light of the fact that you're well known as a devoted SS/HG 'shipper. So it's like watching a movie which you've seen a dozen times, and know how it ends, and still getting goosebumps and anxiety. Good writing, Southern. Well done!
