i wonder what umbridge really thinks of it...say I was thinking of this the whole day today... isnt she supposed to be called the "pink Lady"not being sexist or anything... but well.. lord does convey the image of a male character.. and um.. I do get the feeling that 'she' is the pink lord... but....

Oh! I can't wait until the next chapter post! How often do you update? Is the story already completed & you're just posting or are you really just that good at writing?!? (I've done a bit of writing myself -not all that good though- and I've never managed to get that much done!) Okay, sorry about that, I just wanted to know... This (and the previous) chapter was GREAT! I wonder what Hermione is up to? Thank you for writing this, it's so hard to find stories that catch my interest anymore since I've read so many! Yay! I'm so glad this is being updated frequently- I don't know how I would stand to wait too long for more of this amazing fic. I'll always love 1984, and I have a weak spot for well-written sarcasm and comedy, so this story is simply perfect for me. I love the 1984 parallels, but mostly I just love the pinkness. Imagining Umbridge being the pink lord is believable and yet amusing. I love the Proper Smiles, and the 2 minute handshake, and the pink scale. (though I would like to actualy see which number is which color)  I also love how it's still unclear as to whether Snape is flirting and such with Hermione just to break the decrees or not.  Anyways, great job! I can't wait to read more. (I want to know what Hermione's plan is!)

I love this, it's a totally original story.  The second I started reading it I immediately thought of Mary Kay Costmetics.  Everything is supposed to be bright and cheery and pink.  And Think Pink sounds like it could be one of their slogans.   It's hilarious!

My hubby said that there were parts of this that reminded him of The Worm That Turned (Ronnies Barker and Corbet), and now we have the patent leather uniforms!  Although I have to admit the pink outfits with ruffles have a far more ridiculous image than the black patent leather (or was it PVC?) uniform, with the shorts, fishnet tights and stilletto boots.

I also wanted to compliment you on coming up with a completely believable future in the HP world. I can see Umbridge doing this, and people being so desperate for stability after Voldemort that they'd accept her tyranny.

Phew! I think I held my breath for a tad too long in that chapter! Glad the girls got away with it!I cannot bear the Watch Witch popping into Hermione's flat whenever the fancy takes her, if that were me I'd have been banged up a long time ago, not for mis-behavior but for killing the stupid witch!

Fantastic story - had me laughing from chapter 1.  Please, please, please write more soon - I'm so excited to hear Hermione's master plan
