Now, THAT was satisfying. I thought for a moment there Hermione was going to run into trouble with Malmentis (another nice bad Latin name, btw) and have to be rescued by Snape, which would have been disappointing. But no, she pulls it off with very cool Muggle manuevers! Great job.

I've noticed that whenever I hear "Do you know who I am?" the answer is pretty much "Nobody worth knowing." That is absolutely one of my least favorite phrases, because it's usually some jumped up martinet with delusions of importance. I think you pegged Ms. Umbridge quite well with that particular phrase. The whole Back in Black brigade are my heroes now. What impressive execution of the plan. Nice to see that Hermione understands how to play to her strengths.

When I get the update notice in my email inbox, I start laughing immediately. I don't even have to read the chapter. *That* is how you know you have a great story.  

The big "battle" scene went off without a hitch.  Great job with that!  I am so sad that there is only one more chapter left.  I've really enjoyed this fic.

What a spectacular action sequence! I'm very impressed! It was excellent! And I particularly enjoyed Hermione's self-talk in the midst.  I'm worried about Snape--obviously he won his duel, but he appeared to be wounded?  I'm sorry there's only the last chapter left, but I can't wait to read it!

Now that is one impressive coup!  I really love the coordination of the various elements: the Veritaserum variant, the "true colors" spell, the leather-plasticizing spell.  There's definitely a Hermione Ltd. color-coded schedule behind all that!  

I love the fact that Hermione wrapped Umbridge up in Black.  Very fitting if you ask me.  So is there really anything to Snape and Hermione, or is it simply him just trying to break the rules?

This story is wonderful but it has caused my family to question my sanity (not that I had much to begin with...). My 10-year-old daughter wears glasses and they happen to be Hot Pink. She came home from school today in her pink track suit, pink and white sneakers, matching back-pack and glasses. Needless to say, I look at my child and burst out laughing. I guess it doesn't help that I found an old AC-DC cd and put it on.I admire the thought you put into this. It is very difficult to write humor and you do it very well. I can't wait for the Veritaserum to kick in on the crowd and especially Umbridge!
