Well, it looks like our couple has found themselves with a supporter in the unlikely form of Harry Potter - now what will he do with the knowledge of their relationship and Severus' survival???  Molly will be livid when she finds out about them, but who cares about that.  Love conquers all!  OOOOoooohhh!  And the potion will be ready to try on Severus the next night - YES!!!  Got my fingers crossed.  Wonderful chapter!  :D

Thank goodness Harry had the foresight to realize, after he had read Hermione's letters to Molly, that the Weasley matriarch seemed to be reading too much into them.  He knew that Hermione was probably all right, and acted with a bit of restraint.I'm also glad that Harry and Severus had a chance to talk to each other, and I hope that Harry will keep Hermione's whereabouts a secret from Molly.Now, about that potion... I'm on tenterhooks waiting to find out if they have been successful in its brewing.  Please update soon!Beth

And I hope Harry and Snape can start a new relationship. Some people would say a teary-eyed Snape would be too OOC, but when your life changes so drastically, and you are physically hurt to the point of death, things don't matter so much anymore.Livvy

Molly really doesn't know when to butt out, does she? What Molly thinks, is the one truth, no matter who tries to tell her otherwise. Luckily it seems like Harry has grown up somewhat (hopefully:-)).

I love all the description that went on in this chapter.  It really made a difference, I found it easy to place myself in the character's mind set.

What a lovely day together. I'd think Molly should be - all Hermione has to do is go see the witch once. Act sad and aloof, and leave early saying that she 'wasn't ready of this.' Maybe a tear or two. At least then maybe Molly would back off a bit.I'm so glad the potion is finally finished. I am crossing my fingers that it will work!

This chapter was truly wonderful in all its joy and pain. I hope Severus will accept Hermiones love as unconditionally as it is given, no matter how unfamiliar that is for him. I also hope that Molly takes her nosy nose out of Hermiones life. I look forward to read more!

Oh My Gosh..I have sat here and read all 17 chapters and I can't wait until another one is posted...I am so glad Hermione stayed with him and helped him, I LOVE this story, I am saving it in my favorites, Can't wait to see if the potion helps restore Severus's leg...Bless his heart.I hope he doesn't shut her out afterwards...WELL DONE!!!

Damn Molly!!!  I'm almost ready to break out a can of whoop-ass on her.  She takes the term 'nebbish' to outrageously new heights.  Lovely, lovely chapter!  Severus giving Hermione such a beautiful evening of romance was a treat to read, and Hermione inviting him to share her experience of pleasure was perfection!  :D

Molly is certainly persistent, isn't she?  I hope she doesn't cause too much trouble for Hermione and Severus with her constant whinging for Hermione to come back to the Burrow. 

Severus' confession in the previous chapter that his ability to achieve an erection had also been damaged by Nagini's bite was a painful thing to have to tell Hermione.  But his desire to please and pleasure her was made abundantly clear by the evening he planned for them in the magical garden.  With dancing, no less!  The romantic setting he arranged in their rooms was perfect, and his willingness to give Hermione as much of himself as was humanly possible was the epitome of the selfless love he felt for her:  "You deserve all that you desire, and I have come to realize that I do not need to be so involved physically to enjoy you just as you are.”Hermione's invitation to him to enter her mind so he could experience the feelings and emotions she felt for him was brilliant!    "They were one, and she felt him as he felt her. She cried out her pleasure, and he echoed her."

I'm glad she has him thinking about leaving the castle and starting a new life for themselves.  The loss of his virility poses a few problems for Severus' self esteem, but knowing that if things don't work out as planned Hermoine is still willing to compromise has to be a comfort for him. Great chapter!!!  :D

That's not a subject many would wish to deal with in a fic (at least not in a serious way) and especially not in one as 'restrained' and sensitive as this story is, but you've handled it really well.

I feel sure that things will work out just fine for them given time. The fact that Severus feels close enough to Hermione to talk about such intimate things is clearly a good sign (even more so considering what a private and restrained man he really is; most men would not like to have to explain/admit to such a thing.) I am however a great believer in that love can overcome everything (along with a good potion of course!) :-)

I don't think it's selfish of him at all to want their first time to be theirs together. In fact, I think it is sweet of him to want to share it.
