That was such a wonderful ending. I am so happy Severus has a true family to share things with, both a private and a very extended one! I love the idea of making the old castle into a museum. Much more appropriate than letting it continue to rot away.

All in all, a truly fantastic story.

What an incredible coming together. So sweet and tender, yet passionate too. They truly are made for each other.

Very tense chapter! I can see how Voldemort would use the Dark Mark as a way of further torturing his Death Eaters, even after he had gone.

Good for Harry doing the brekfast. It also Shows Severus just how much he has been missing out on by hiding from the world.

I can imagine the pain and torture Severus must be going through, reawakening and stimulating nerves and tissues that have been dead for 2 years!

I am glad Severus and Harry have been able to clear the air. Even though Severus is the partner of his best friend, Harry still seems to look at Snape as a kind of father figure.

I am glad Snape has found Harry too now. It is like he has been alone so long, and now he is almost getting a ready made family!

It is so nice to see Harry and Hermione together again.

I can just imagine Harry being extremely grossed out at first, but when he realised how much Snape means to Hermione, he would see how perfect they are together.
I am glad Harry will get a chance to talk things out with Snape.

Who knew Severus could be such a romantic? Just the fact that he could plan such a beautiful eveningfor Hermione, shows what a beautiful person he is inside.

Poor Severus. I don't think anything could be worse for a man than to loose his ability. At least he is able to reasure Hermione he does want her, even if he is unable to do anything at the moment.

I truly love the way they find such comfort in each other. It seems like Severus is not yet quite ready to give up his past and move on, or out of that spooky, crumbling castle.

What a wonderful description of the contrast between the cold, dead corridors of the castle and the lush, fresh life in the greenhouse.

Phew. Apprentices are bonded for 20 years? Is that how long an apprenticeship takes, or how long it takes to become a potions Master?

Now that sounds like the best morning Severus has ever had: waking up with a warm, wonderful witch at his side, having his terrible wound healed, and a sweet first kiss. Sigh.

How horrible it must have been for him to go back into the Shack the first time. I assume he would have been alone that time. At least he knows Hermione will be there for him now.

I can still picture the devestation of the old castle. How hard it must be to see a once loved place fall into such ruin.

Wow. I can imagine Slytherins having snakes as pets. Seems like the kind of thing they would do. Interesting contrast to the much more humble beds in Gryffindor.

No, no, no! Not the self pity!! He must hold on to the hope and remember that she is truthful and kind, and not the sort just to take on a project for the fun of it.

I think that as much as Severus needs attention and companionship, so too does Hermione.I hope they will be able to heal each other.

I am so glad Hermione is there to help Snape. His self imposed isolation has made it so that he didn't even know he was cleared of Dumbledore's murder. Such a sad, lonely life.

Poor Snape. I can't imagine him living as he has had to do for the last 2 years in a deserted castle with no way of even doing what he loves. I hope :ermione will be able to help him recover.

That was such a beautiful and haunting description of the castle. I could actually feel Hermione's despair and lonelyness as she was searching.
