Had to laugh. Seems like the "Witch's Wardrobe" is an underground safehaven that more wizards know about than witches. When in doubt, take Hermione to Rosie's. Is she the local Agony Aunt?

The plot thichens...have to admit I didn't see it coming either, from Selinski & Emilie, that is. Nice one. Still dying to see the staff meeting, and find out the reactions from all those expelled!

We'll see... have to get the bad ones to Azkaban, first and Hermione and Snape now have a staffing situation! No Head of house for Ravenclaw and no Herbology teacher! Whoa. Then there'll be that pesky business when the Board of Governors finds out that Snape let in a Death Eater under HIS radar? Not good. Then they have two very confused and violated teachers to deal with - they're not happy either (Holden and Selinski) Trouble and more Trouble!Thanks!

Now I would say as much as they may have protested both enjoyed Severus' punishment, but Hermione must learn there are limits to a man's endurance.As for Rita well I still like the insecticide.

What a great chapter.. Never would of thought of death eaters! Such a plot! And what can i say about the punishment, was good, although Hermione backed down. I'm sure she will get her own back.Can't wait for more.

Oh, don't be too hard on Emilie. I rather pity her. It will come out in later chapters, but she did what she did out of a desperate need for love, not because she wanted to hurt people. When she is arrested, she will be feeling a great deal of remorse and anguish.Thanks for reviewing!

Oh, I guess with all that has to be done, one chapter wouldn't be enough to give this full credit, but I do admit that even how great this chapter was, I was a tad dissepointed that it didn't include the staffmeeting and expultation of some students. I know I am impatient, and when we have gotten the whole confrontation I should read this chapter over again to enjoy Rita's downfall, even if she to some degree helped the Snapes by revealing the viper in their nest. I am very pleased though that Severus is so secure and comfortable in his love and devotion for Hermione that he "dare" treat her like he did at the beginning of this chapter. He is an impressivly quick learner with regards to the subject of handeling Hermione:-) I am also very pleased, and for me this makes the story even more precious, that he is so secure in himself and in Hermione, to lean back and let her handle the payback. More than anything that shows that he consider Hermione as his wife and equal, and that is priceless:-))Update again soon!!!

When Hermione cleans house...she really cleans house! I loved how it started out as punishment for Severus, but Hermione ended up being on the receiving end of it all. Severus really knows how to turn a situation to his advantage!I'm pleased that the troublemaking students are getting tossed out. Serves them right for stirring up a hornet's nest!Regarding Skeeter's big reveal...Holy Crap! I had a feeling there was a backstabber amongst the new recruits, but I had no idea it was a Death Eater trying to pick up where the Dark Lord left off. You certainly know how to keep the story interesting. Looking forward to the next update!

Wow, Hermione just had a lot of manure dropped onto her plate. I loved the conversation with Rita. Hopefully she will get hers. The letters were a nice touch but I would loved to have seen who's names would have been on them. I suspect there will be more from that direction. My next thought was on the Death Eaters in the school. I suppose they are following Voldermort's ideas, but who is in charge? Who is the new Dark Lord I suppose.I suspect Hermione will be having another chat with Severus about all the things she learned. I wonder if they will be able to keep up a united front.

Fantastic chapter and I am keenly awaiting the next one for Hermione's response. 
I really do think that Professor Holden manipulated the situation expertly (She is a Slytherin...). If she was so upset it would be more appropriate to cry on the shoulder of someone you would not be attracted to (taking into account gay relationships here) rather than a potential paramour. Did she use the other poor wizard to engineer Severus's pity? The worst thing is she manipulated Severus and Hermione by using Hermione's youth and inexperience and Severus's lack of emotional/husbanding experience against them (horrible *Grr*). I think it is a case of fool me once shame on you, but fool me twice shame on me - and Hermione is no fool. It will be 'interesting' for Prof Holden and other newcomers to see Hermione in full flight - I think they have been lulled into a sense of false security and expect her to crumple. I bet they think she only got her job and her 'sham' marriage only as someone who got lucky by being a survivour rather than earning it. Hence Holden's feeling that Severus is fair game. Bring it on. He He.Nice touch with Severus' response at breakfast - it would be awesome to behold on film (Not happening -dagnabit!)Cheers.

Hermione does make such a good headmistress. It's good to see her that way, being capable even though she's having a rough patch in her private life.But just when it looked like Severus was figureing out the husband thing, he really blew it. I hope something gives soon!

Oh, poor Hermione. I do think that you've hit a good balance of mental maturity and emotional lack due to her traumatic past. Severus apparently isn't immune to his fits of darkness and light, either, which also works. It's not in his nature to be sweet all the time. He's just a little bit too much for her.

Oh yeah, a lot of that sounds familiar from my college years, when girls felt even brave enough to discuss sex at all. Looks like Severus will be patient with her, though. They're so good together.

Simply beautiful in every detail.I have to add that ordinarily when I read a book or fic where they delay the consummation for a while after the wedding, I feel like it's a cheap ploy for artificial sexual tension, but this didn't feel that way at all. It felt very natural and sweet and just perfect for the characters.
