Reviews for Travel, Conspiracy, and Men
Excellent... loved the exchanges between Lucius and Edwina! (Retard shagging buddy - CLASSIC!!) Also loved the fact that Hermione has so many men in her life that she can actually count on to help in a crisis (she deserves it, especially after so many years with the man who was less than reliable). The children are vey well-written, too; I enjoyed their dialogue immensely. And their obvious delight with the magical kitchen.
Well done - I'm eagerly anticipating your next chapter!
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Dear Ms F,Do tell, have you informed your husband yet? No, don't answer that.I thank you for approving my exchange with Edwina. I must admit I enjoyed it myself. I could almost find it within myself to feel sorry for Mr Weasley. Almost. The children are surprisingly well behaved, although Hugo needs considerable training with his language; his father's influence unfortunately shines like a misplaced neon lamp in a romantic setting.I thank you for sharing your opinion and wish you happy anticipating.Yours,Lucius Malfoy

the wilsons are idiots to think they can go against the brightest witch, a wizard with quiet a lot of influence and a Potion Master with a dark past well the last to with a dark pastwhat i don't get yet is why Edwina wants Ron; she must have him under a spell or potion he is the easiest to manipulate.this is a brilliant fic
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Dear Ms Bloodgood,The Wilsons are not exactly idiots, but they certainly overestimate their power.Do you think Edwina wants Ron? Or could he be merely an end to her needs?I am pleased you like this account of my life, and I particularly appreciate the stars you adorn me with. Furthermore, I am pleased to say that the Imperio on the author is holding up: the next chapter will be available shortly.I thank you for your communication.Yours,Lucius Malfoy

Is Ron under the Imperius, or is he just that dumb? "Severus is so cool!" You wouldn't be saying that if he were your teacher, Hugo.Really enjoying this, I like all the plotlines you've woven together :)
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Dear Ms L.,I'll have you know that Hugo still thinks I'm "cool." Although, thankfully, he has learned to become more eloquent linguistically.I thank you for your approval as well as the stars, though no doubt you can imagine that Lucius has sneaked in and gathered them all for himself. He is still as bad as a magpie when it comes to things shiny.Yours,Severus Snape

I am so glad that they are safe! To bad that Severus had to reveal himself as much as he did. I don't think Minerva is going to let it go.
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Minerva is old, she may just not dwell on it... :)Thanks for reviewing.

I am quite sure Harry has many questions, but Minerva even more. Fantastic chapter I love "black knight Severus" (my own little nickname). He does not charge to the rescue, but slinks in doing what needs to be done. I am sure when all is calmed down Hermione will reward him thoroughly even if it is subconsciously. Irish

Aw, thanks! *pats the shiny stars before Lucius nicks them again*

Oh my goodness, my stomach is in knots. I hope that Rose and Hugo have enough of their mother's smarts to remain calm and level-headed. And I hope their lives are worth something in trade to prevent them being harmed. And I hope the author STOPS leaving me hanging...Amazing chapter. Interesting that the Ministry controls Portkeys and whatever the kids received acted suspiciously like a Portkey. I'm so glad that all the "good" guys (LM, SS, HP, DM) have an idea of what's been going on... it's good that Hermione won't be alone in fighting this, as I can see her needing some help; as strong as she is, she's also a mother whose children have been taken and even the brightest minds would be challenged to think rationally under those circumstances.
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
As it turned out, they didn't have to wait long for their rescue. :)Thank you for your kind words and shiny stars, which Lucius immediately snagged as usual.

Dear Mr Snape,I apologise for addressing you as if we've already met, but I simply had to thank you for allowing the author to relate this most amazing tale to me. I had, of course, heard of your amazing life, and I can't tell you how pleased I am to find that the rumours of your death have been greatly exaggerated. I had always suspected that an ealier author (who shall remain nameless) had dealt you a great misfortune with her rather shoddy treatment of your personality in her seven books. I'm ever so happy that this current author is doing such an excellent job of putting things right. Thank you for trusting her!Kindly yours,Ms F.
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Dear Ms F.,Do not waste your time apologising. Your words quite mollified me sufficiently. The earlier author, who shall continue to remain nameless, is what fandom would consider a noob, and that is all I have to say on the matter. Lucius and I are relieved to have found an author who is more susceptible to Imperio, thus enabling us to have our wicked way with her, plot and everything else.Yours,S Snape
Response from HogwartsClassof91 (Reviewer)
Dear Mr. Snape,Thank you for your informative (albeit somewhat delayed) reply. I'm sure you've been quite busy with dancing the tango and such, which is surely far more important than responding to reviews in a timely manner. No doubt the author has quite enjoyed her time with Lucius and you. It appears the tale may be drawing to a close soon, and so I should mention that Austin is a quick Apparition from wherever you are. If you'd care to test the powers of your Imperio against my Protego, appropriate accommodations can be arranged. That is, of course, if your... abilities... can rise to such a challenge.
Cordially,
Ms F.

Oh, good Lord, woman, you are the biggest freaking tease!!!! And they say I write cliffies...Excellent chapter, blah, blah, blah...*hurries to the next...
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Really, Ms F, you are one to talk about cliffhangers... Believe me, those cliffhangers will continue.L M
Response from HogwartsClassof91 (Reviewer)
I should have suspected you had a hand in this, Mr Malfoy. I expect you enjoy the fact that you've managed to tease countless unknown women...
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Dear Ms F,I suspect that trait is in my somewhat hedonistic nature. Imagine my bliss to sit back, appreciate Hermione's attention to my tongue and Severus's attention to other parts while imagining all the women who squirm in their seats, dying to know what comes next.Yours,LM

I loved the background on the base in Antarctica; you've introduced so many amazing concepts, and they're all so intriguing. Well done! And I loved Hermione strolling off naked to the bathroom at the end... such confidence. Yay!
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Dear Ms F,The background on the base is, at least potentially, fact, so neither of us can take credit. However, I do love the fact that you loved Hermione strolling off naked to the bathroom. She truly is a sight to behold.Yours,Lucius Malfoy

Now I'm laughing over the fact that I mentioned "Utopia" in my review of the last chapter...I adore the descriptions of the other society, and I have a perfect picture of Lola in my mind (el-oh-el-ay, Lola...). Great... now I've got a Kinks song stuck in my head. Thanks. *glares*, *hums*Excellent chapter (I always say that, I know - but it's true!)!!
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Ah. Yes. Good old Utopia. I do understand it sounds... Utopian. Nevertheless, it's there.I am relieved the writer managed to depict the other society as adorable. They are, I agree.Lola. An owl is on its way. Neither Kinks nor Barry Manilow.Thank you. I do so enjoy your favourable words and even more so the stars you adorn them with.Yours,Lucius Malfoy

The Ministry seems to be turning into a rather frightening Magical Big Brother... just why do they want to keep such close tabs on the population???Hmmm....Good thing there's more chapters for me to read...
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Dear Ms F,Indeed, Big Brother. Not that they stand a chance against the three of us. Some people, a very small percentage of the population, I might add, like to gain control over everything, including free human beings.I thank you for your review and the stars.Yours,Lucius Malfoy

That Edwina is pure evil! I'd love to know who was on the other end of the phone conversation she was having while she was trying to hack Hermine's computer.Congrats to Lucius for casting his first Patronus! Woo hoo!I look forward to finding out who kidnapped Rose and Hugo, and to see what Hermione, Lucius, Severus, Harry, Draco, and Ron are gonna do to the miscreants when they find them.Great chappie!Beth
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Dear beffeysue,Indeed, Edwina is evil. And I did feel rather accomplished having cast my lion Patronus. You'll find out in the next chapter who is behind the kidnapping. I will also be meeting Edwina there, which I sincerely hope you'll enjoy. She leaves speechless, enough said.Yours,Lucius MalfoyP.S. The writer, Imperiod as the poor thing is, keeps insisting I thank everyone for reviewing, so: Thank you for reviewing. And I have no doubt you know exactly how I appreciate the stars.

Loved the description of Severus' home, and I'm very intrigued by the inner-earth dwellers. I hope we get to meet them, and learn more about how they managed to create a Utopian society.Excellent chapter; quite well done. PS - If you speak to Severus, ask him if he'd be willing to sell a Muggle some of that massage oil...
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Dear Ms F,I am ever so relieved you are approving of the design of my home.Utopian society indeed. You are in luck: My next batch of massage oil is nearly ready to ship. I shall send some your way.I thank you for approving of our tale.Yours,Severus Snape

Ok Lucius knows things because of Draco. Draco is a lot like his father with him going into security. Looking at or after people. Where as Lucius came after people. lol. I love where this story is going. You are a real pro my dear.
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Dear Ms Bloodgood,I'll have you know I never went after people. Or if, then it was not voluntarily. We all make mistakes when we are young.I am ever so happy that you love the direction of this tale. Whilst I vowed to myself I'd never use an Unforgivable again, I had to make an exception with the writer. She was perfectly perceptible, of course, and is not fighting it in the least.Yes, Draco thankfully is like his father. I am glad, for I could not bear if he went after Cissy, much as I loved her. Now if I had offspring with Hermione, then I might be proud if said offspring went after her. Oh, yes. But I'm afraid that's not all that likely to happen. Although there is the very acute possibility of a Moonchild. I shall have to think it over.Thank you for reviewing, and thank you for the stars. I do so appreciate them.Yours,Lucius Malfoy
Response from Arabella Bloodgood (Reviewer)
Dear Mr. Malfoy,I suppost I am to talk the word of a Malfoy. This Malfoy, yourself, that followed a deranged lunatic that went after people just like himself(half bloods). Are you saying you never followed his orders to go after the D.A. in the M.O.M.?I must say, I was going to give all the credit for this amazing fic to the author, but as seeing as that you have corrected me; then you should know that your writting style is excellent, even if you had to use an Unforgivable.Yes, Draco has so many things in common with yourself. For example, hansome, pride and oh so arrogant. The difference thought are that Draco, with the help of the right woman or man; which ever he chooses, can lose some of said arrogant. Where as old dogs have a hard time learning new tricks. Thank you for responding to my review.Sincerely,

I loved Lucius casting his first Patronus, and how enthusiastic he was about it. And it's a lion! Their celebration was lovely as well.

Dear Dreamy,Please worry not. The children's situation will be resolved in the very next chapter, which the writer sent to her beta today.Yes, it's a lion. Hermione has that... Gryffindor influence on me. It made me sigh, but what can I say?I thank you, as always, for your kind words, and may I point out how I simply love the stars you adorn me this tale with?Yours,Lucius

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who writes a nice and loving and caring (and, as uncharitable tongues may put it, OOC) Lucius... :-D And now he can play the hero with her kids kidnapped and all. Lovely. Severus´ turn will come soon enough. As Lucius pointed out in his letter, trios are not born overnight. Anticipation is part of the fun!
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
You won't have to wait long for Severus's turn *grins*OOC? Sheesh, honestly. Lucius is literally dictating this tale, how can that be OOC? *snickers*You write Lucius??? *runs to check you out*Thanks for your lovely review! And, oh, the stars, you know how Lucius loves the shiny stuff...
Response from HannahSmith (Reviewer)
Lucius/Hermione is actually my favorite pairing (even over Severus, but don't tell anyone else I said that). The good thing about him is that canon doesn't tell us a thing about his true thoughts, so we're free to find our own explanations for his actions. He's just too handsome and sexy to be all bad *sigh*
