Well, she was talking about Ron pulling the wool over her eyes. Sheep have wool.... so that's why she turned into a sheep.

I understand that. That is the literal meaning. But the phrase "pull the wool over someone's eyes" must mean something in English that I do not get. Is he lying to her, is he cheating on her, or does he literally hold a thread of wool in his hand and drags it over her face?
