I have always thought the same. I mean, I know babies don't come with instruction manuals, but there are people there to help you. Yeah, the Prologue is kinda short. I did that on purpose. Actually, I started writing this chapter on the one where Harry begs Severus not to go, which isn't for a few chapters yet! But after I'd started, I decided I wanted to specifically state the backstory rather than refer back to it and hint at it and whatnot. Thanks for your honesty, because frankly I agree with you on the most part. I like Harry's defiance in the Prologue, but I agree it's not the same calibre as the other chapters are/will be.
