Reviews for No Music More Enchanting
I hope Severus plans to use a glamour or Polyjuice to attend the party, rather than sitting at home alone.
Hmmm! Well, if the caretaker did like Luna better than Hermione because of her colouring, then he'd love Lucius, but I wonder what L's warning refers to. He could have been a bit less vague.
Hmmm! I wonder if their guest is the squib caretaker, or if it's the other 'tenant'? Rushing on.
Oops! I think I HAVE read this before now, but I don't know whether I reviewed properly at the time, so... Germany is an unusual choice for Hermione's overseas refuge. I've seen lots of fics where she goes to Australia, and at least as many where she goes to the US. Closer to home, she regularly heads for France, but this may just be the only fic I know where she heads for Germany. I know with your background you'll be able to make it fascinating for us all.
I'm also waiting patiently to find out what Hermione and and Luna's Animagi forms are. I have just enough of an inkling from reading before to think that they don't match their known Patroni.
Oooh! Now why haven't I read this before now? Anyway, I shall enjoy savouring it now. An interesting start. I'm assuming that needed or not, Hermione will still sit her NEWTs as part of her two years of fun. The big question is whether she'll write that book. Ron, of course, is probably just about to expose himself as a total arse. That goes without saying.
Severus opened himself up to Hermione! I can't imagine how difficult that must have been for him; to put himself out on a limb like that.

I think he didn't have too much trouble with that because by the time he did open up to her to such an extent, he had been observing her for months, received "intelligence" from Lucius, and then simply decided it was the right time to do so, in order to enter a relationship that was based on absolute honesty. Which I think is the only way a relationship works. And given his past, this was probably the best approach to help someone trust him. Although I agree with you, it can't have been easy for him. Which is why I wrote it from Hermione's point of view. LOL.
Thank you for your lovely review!
Even if Hermione can change into her Animagus form and fly to save herself, Luna's seagoing form (unless she's a seabird of some sort) isn't going to help her one bit. Hopefully there's a spell for flying that Luna knows. I've been very much enjoying this story so far.

You think so??? LOL
Thank you for reviewing.
Interesting chapter - Cannot see where you take Severus and Hermione.... I an assuming that Luna is some kind of fish or whale when she transformed.
Response from karelia (Author of No Music More Enchanting)
Some people just end up as couples in an unconventional way. :-)
Thank you for reviewing.
So Snape and Hermione are dancing around each other while Luna and Lucius don't bother with the dancing. That is all quite amusing. So, did Luna turn into a Crumple-horned Snorkack?
Response from karelia (Author of No Music More Enchanting)
Teehee, not quite, although that's an excellent idea!!! I'll have to keep that in mind, lol.
Thank you for reviewing!
Oh, things are moving between our couple. It won't be long now!
Response from karelia (Author of No Music More Enchanting)
:-) There'll be progress very soon.
Thank you for your review!
Fab chapter. I'd like to know exactly what Luna transformed into though.
Response from karelia (Author of No Music More Enchanting)
Thank you! Never fear, the beans will be spilled before much longer. :-)
Good chapter again. Love her dream and the descriptions.
Response from karelia (Author of No Music More Enchanting)
Thank you! With all your encouragement, I'm finally tempted to put pen on paper again. :-)
Snape to the rescue of course
Response from karelia (Author of No Music More Enchanting)
Duh. LOL. I can't think of anyone better suited for coming to the rescue. *giggles*
I love the title on this one. Makes a song "Don't Fear the Reaper" come to mind.
Response from karelia (Author of No Music More Enchanting)
Teehee. I simply can't resist the reference to music, LOL.
Great again~
Response from karelia (Author of No Music More Enchanting)
*blushes* Thank you! Only because you worked your magic! :-)
I'm glad Hermione could transform, and I'm glad the breakup with Ron was easy.
Response from karelia (Author of No Music More Enchanting)
*chuckles* I tried very hard not to write Ron as a prat, lol.
Thank you for your review!

What a great story! I'm really liking how you are developing the plot. It almost reminds me of Indiana Jones... I can just picture Snape sneering "I wasn't named after the dog!"
Response from karelia (Author of No Music More Enchanting)
Thank you very much!
You know, it's really funny. When it was posted during the exchange, a lot of readers made references to Indiana Jones. And I still haven't managed to watch those movies, ROFL.

Oh so now we have a hint as to why Snape is teaching in Germany. cool
Response from karelia (Author of No Music More Enchanting)
Yes, and the hints are getting stronger, too!
Thank you for reviewing!
Good chapter - cannot wait to see what happens and how the Severus and Hermione situation developes.
Response from karelia (Author of No Music More Enchanting)
Thank you! I admit, it's a slow development until about Ch 8. But the anticipation is just so much fun to write, lol.
I do like the way you have Lucius and Luna written. I know Hermione has to tell Ron and soon. I hope he doesn't take it too badly.
Response from karelia (Author of No Music More Enchanting)
I'm so glad you like it! It was very new to me, but I certainly have grown very fond of that pairing since.
Thank you for reviewing.
Yeah................Snape has surfaced! Fabulous!

Thank you!
Interesting way to bring Severus back from the dead as a university Chemistry professor. Cannot wait to see what happens at the party.
Response from karelia (Author of No Music More Enchanting)
*grins* I thought he might make a dashing figure as a professor of Chemistry. :-)
Thank you for reviewing!
This story has quickly captured my imagination. I'll watch for further updates with bated breath :)
Response from karelia (Author of No Music More Enchanting)
Thank you very much! The story is completed, and I update every evening. :-)
What an interesting story so far! Many people in my area have been to Germany, and I often hear that Germans are friendly and eager to speak English with native speakers, and eager to help strangers. I long to visit there some day. For now, there are your lovely descriptions!
Response from karelia (Author of No Music More Enchanting)
The last time I was there (05/06), they were so keen speaking English that they mostly ignored the fact that my German is fluent, LOL. They heard me talk English with my family and preferred to practise their English.
Thank you for a wonderful review!
