I ttally loved your disclaimer - and the picture of Severus as Bambi on ice...

Especially liked the long, angsty paragraph as he thinks over all the things he wants in the world, probably deserves, hopes for in his heart of hearts, but never expects to actually get, and then writes, simply,

"Socks."

Made me laugh.  I'm sure Albus appreciated it, too.

in the beginning, i was thinking he was being SO unreasonable, not that there's no precedent for that, but still - and then you explained it so beautifully, with all that emotional backstory: vulnerable severus, lashing out like a wounded bear. i loved that they were arguing passionately over tea. (i just giggled again, remembering it.) and severus wobbling on iceskates. and most of all, i loved the happy ending. : )

This is such a sweet story! Loved the bickering, but loved even more that they were together at the end!
