I stumbled onto the Potterverse in the summer of 2007, the weekend that DH came out, which was also the weekend I had a screening of the latest film. I reread HBP after starting DH and realizing it had been awhile, so, by the end of that weekend, I was overdosed on Harry Potter . . . and needed a fix! I stumbled onto SS/HG fics. These turned out to be far and away my favorite of these writings, in part because they're almost all wickedly erotic, funny as hell, deeply moving, and a vindication of intelligence as the ultimate aphrodisiac!
In RL I am an actor and a writer.

"Come home. I have your knickers." What a hilarious way to end! You struck a good balance between humor and darkness. Loved it!

Thank you ever so! And what a reunion it should be. They are a great couple.Thank you so much for the lovely review!
Oh, my! Where to begin? I loved this and could totally see both parties reacting this way. I loved the missing knickers and the bit about giving the morons a lesson on the Potions table.

Thank you so much, RR, and thank your for your careful and loving work to validate it (in style *and* substance!). This is my first story on PP; I am still very new to the whole fanfic world, and am immensely grateful for the care this site gives to quality and details.
And, of course, anything that encourages me to write, much less to play with Severus and Hermione (such fun toys!), should be celebrated. *POPS CHAMPAGNE CORK*
Thanks also for helping me find the wonderful Shug (sshg316), Beta of All Betas!
oh my god, I absolutely feel for Hermione. Severus Snape is the most enormous drama queen
That's brilliant. I love your Hermione!

Thank you--so do I! She's a feisty little something, and he so deserves her. Thanks for reviewing!
This story is absolutely wonderful, and I hope you'll also post "Dating a Heroine" here - I love it just as much.

Thank you so much! I just realized the other day that I never got around to posting "Heroine" here, and I'm delighted you like them both. Reviews and support like yours have gotten me to finish a few more, as well. I really appreciate the kind words!

this was wonderfully funny. hermione's rather strident abuse does seem the only appropriate response to severus's ridiculously overdramatic self-sacrificing tone, doesn't it? please excuse me, now; i must go look up "gormless tosser."
Response from Elise_Wanderer (Author of The Dear John Letters)
"Gormless tosser" may have just become my favorite Insult Appropriate to Use in Mixed Company!Yes, I do believe it's precisely her hands-up-in-the-air, balls-to-the-wall reaction to his lugubrious self-pity that makes them the perfect match.Thank you so very much for reading and reviewing--your comments make me a happy writer!!

Oh bloody well done!! I was laughing so hard I was shaking the bed. There is nothing I love more than some good, old fashion swearing.
Response from Elise_Wanderer (Author of The Dear John Letters)
Me neither! Especially British swearing! Them folks do know how to use and abuse the language, don't they?Hope your bed survived--thank you so much for the wonderful words!
I loved it - I love a strong Hermione. It was so funny how she told him off over and over again until she said that she was coming back. Good girl and good story
Response from Elise_Wanderer (Author of The Dear John Letters)
Oh, and I do so think the conversation continued in person, probably in just this same tone, once they were reuinted. And I think they love it just that way! Thank you so much for reviewing!
Oh what a hoot I absolutley loved it! I have to admit the beginning did have me slightly nauseated, but it was well worth it! Well done! Irish
Response from Elise_Wanderer (Author of The Dear John Letters)
It's so funny, but when I was writing it, because I knew where I was going, I felt all that long buildup was really needed. It didn't occur to me until I started to get reactions back that anybody might be put off by it. It just seemed to me so exactly Severus, that long, drawn-out self-flagellation, which Hermione brings to such a refreshing halt with her own stamping of her little feet.So glad you stuck it out and got to the good parts! So glad she did, too!!Thank you very much for your review!
Very amusing! Thanks.
