Reviews for Ever After
so sad. At least he died knowing he was loved. It's better than dying with no one in the shrieking shack.

Absolutely. Thanks for leaving a note!
What a tragic tale. To think that the story was inspired by real life makes it all the more heart wrenching. You have done a beautiful job of portraying the love and wonder of the day. I am so sorry for Hermione and the man who now has to live out his life without the woman that he loves. I am glad that she had the wedding of her dreams. This makes one remember that life is too short and we should always treasure each day with those that we love, making each moment count and every person we meet a friend.

Thank you for such a lovely review. When i read the real life story, I couldn't help but think of this pair and how it would make a wonderful angsty story.
I'm glad I moved you enough to leave much a well-written review.
OMG I Read that article, so sad, I really like what you did with this, even tho it is very sad!!!

Thank you. It is tragic... and just rang very true for the SS/HG universe.

Oh, but you are cruel! Giving so much hope for his surviving and happiness, and then this... *sobs*
;o) Awfully good story, and the end really surprised me.

Thank you.
So sad, and yet, so poetic.

Thank you. Exactly what I was aiming for.
I think I should read the warning more often. !!anyway it's beautiful, sad but beautiful.

Thank you.
Aww. That made me cry! Good job on the story! I liked it!

Thank you kindly.

Thanks for letting me know, Droxy. Your feedback means more than you know.
As well as you wrote this it leaves me too sad to say that I liked it. The real life story is tragic enough I guess I was hoping that in a world of wizards there would have been a way to save him. Good job on a sad story. from JoAnne

Thank you? I'm not quite sure if this is a critique or not.
But at least it impacted you enough to comment.

Sorry for the conflicting review. I love the writing -- you do that very well. Let me explain the rest -- I like my angsty stories to have happy endings as real life doesn't allow that to happen all the time. However, I realize that some prefer true life endings. So I never intended it as a critique, but rather an appreciation. Hope that clears it up. Whatever else it is a good story.
ooooh my that was a heart jerker that one. Well done thoguh I enjoyed it :) I always like things from snapes point of view. I just don't see it quite often enough.

Yes, that's why I decided to swap it around. I like to keep things interesting.
I love reading fluff, or romantic stories with happy endings; but sometimes its refreshing to read something a little different.
Would have been more brutally ironic to have Hermione die without warning though.
Response from minuet99 (Author of Ever After)
Perhaps, perhaps.
I had just read that article in the news yesterday and can't imagine the pain the poor groom is going through. You caputured it beautifully
Response from minuet99 (Author of Ever After)
Thank you very much.
I read that article! That was so sad. and this tugs at my heartstrings even more than that did. It was so sweet, yet so horribly sad at the same time.
Response from minuet99 (Author of Ever After)
It just hits at the heart, doesn't it? And unfortunately angst suits this pairing all to well.
Thanks for stopping by, reading, and leaving a note. :)
