I am a slytherin in hufflepuff clothing.
I read therefore I am.
I write therefore I amuse myself.
Reviews for It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes
You had me laughing with "not impervious to monsoon conditions" hahahaha
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
Yay! Laughing is my payday.
Oh it really is a fairy princess dress! This is the first fan fiction I have ever read that mentions SATC. I think I love you
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
Good, then my affections are returned!I just knew there had to be someone, aside from me, who would like it.
The family name vow is great magic! I love it when authors make up cool things like that! Most impressed am I!
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
I love it when I get inspired (and reviews) like that.It tingles.In a totally non-sexual way. :-)
OUCH! A truly appropriate gift from Mr. Malfoy
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
and gorgeous, besides, don't you think?I do. Blasted California weather.*cannot think of a single reason to justify buying $149 italian leathre gloves*
Response from MollysSister (Reviewer)
When you come visit me in Wisconsin in Feburary you will need the gloves.
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
Pokey: then I bought the $600 plane ticket so I could use the gloves...Mr. Pokey: ...
Draco taking it slow huh? He must really luuuuuuve her
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
exactly!
Did you just make that up? About butterfly kisses being snowflakes in the winter...Clever girl.
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
Yep. all me. (hee)
You killed off Snape? Where is the love? Oh its a DM/HG story so I cannot cheer for Snape? Ohhhhhhhh all right I will try.
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
*a-hem*I did not kill off Snape, JKR did. I just used it to provide an impetus for Draco's redemption.Understand, this is *probably* the last time you'll see Snape dead in one of my fics. I've finally decided to be selectively canon-compliant.
Response from MollysSister (Reviewer)
((pats pokey on the back for her decision to be selectively canon complaint))
Snog Draco. Damn that's so cute.
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
Thank you!
I love him adding to her lists.
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
Especially since it wasn't things like "buy peanut butter" or "take the krup to the vet".
I love them being on tenterhooks around Hermione, it is really funny.

I like to torture Lucius. Just a little.
I like to torture Draco. A lot.
I am so glad Lucius is being a good grandfather and father-in-law. And of course, the baby's name and their oldest's name is great!
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
Whatever his faults, Lucius clearly values family.
I had fun with the names (just wait til the next chapter - the queue's pretty big, though.)
I've read "Repurcussions" before and now I will have to go read again. I love when authors reference others in the ship or fandom and help spread the wealth.
And yes, women surely are squirelly and crazy while pregnant.
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
Kris should have another chapter ready in a week or two.
One of my favorite HG/SS stories in Quillusion's Soul Searching. It mentions a plethora of classic HG/SS fics. I had weeks and weeks worth of reading material from the footnotes.
It seemed obvious the hormones would affect the magic.

I just sent chapter 31 back to her yesterday, so it should be up at GE in the next few days. She's pretty quick about posting things.
Such a sweet Christmas story. Well done!

what my mother wouldn't give to make all her lists be completed. there's a thought.
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
Seriously, if someone completed *my* to-do lists?Best. Present. Ever.

just by the way, I love the title of this chapter. and I KNEW they were going to end up calling salazar "sal". I wonder how that will go over at hogwarts.
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
Sal - pretty well, with at least a quarter of the school.

the extra nose bit made me laugh quite a lot. until I got to the homeschooling/montessori bit, and then I was in stitches. I get the feeling you are a qualified adult with the certificate to prove it, but I am young enough that I remember being dragged around to several different schools by my parents, who were intent that I go to THE RIGHT ONE. all I have to say is, those waldorf people are darn scary. :) I like the whole pregnancy hormone, out of control magic thing. it's great. and I can't wait until neville comes face to face with pink nargles on rollerskates.
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
*big smile*waldorf - all I could think was "people made of SALAD?" *gasp* ::tongue firmly in cheek::

wow. drama. if I was hermione I would cry with embarrasment too. tho I have to say i'm impressed ron knows the word paterfamilias, movie or not. I like the family name vow, very creative!
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
Ron can be smart, sometimes... with help. Thanks!

wow. I had to read this twice, but when i did...it worries me! i hope they will find a way to get around their troubles without just not discussing them! that can kill a relationship!
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
Can you see Hermione NOT talking about it?That's quite a compliment you gave me! I wrote "The Gloves" in reaction to an overdose of overly dramatic emo angst. I wanted this fight to be subtle and quiet and just as deadly as ALL CAPS and Violence and lots !!!!! of exclamation points. So, I'm glad you worried! *hug*

for some reason I found this exceedingly funny. I'm not sure why. but it is excellent.

Probably because you expect Draco to do the seducing? And Hermione to be clueless? Thanks!

It's really difficult to explain the significance of the right wedding gown. I shopped for months and when I slipped on THE dress, it really was all that it should be.I loved Draco's fear ... it's funny and vulnerable and quite endearing.
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
It is, isn't - I had exactly the same experience. It's always seeemed to me that he would be the type to obsess over something insignificant as way of dealing with the huge issues.
I loved this. The fact that Lucius and Narcissa made the vow just highlights how much they love Draco, and how serious he is. I loved that Ron was a jerk, but really because he cares about Hermione ... and hates Draco. And I loved that she is the one asking him to marry her at the end. Go, Hermione!
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
Yay for seeing Ron's concern! Exactly - a jerk, but a caring jerk.i couldn't imagine Hermione not taking matters into her own hands. (as it were ~e-hem~)
Ah, how painful for each of them, and yet, how realistic. Blending their lives wouldn't be easy on so many levels.Lovely drabble.
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
Thank you!
::snicker:: There really is a time and a place for everything ... and I suppose a Gryffindor should never try to out-Slytherin the Slytherin Prince.
Response from pokeystar (Author of It’s a Wonderful Life, He Hopes)
Especially when the Slytherin in question is being Gryffidoblivious. ;-)
