I'm relatively new to fan fiction, only discovering it after reading DH - around August '07. The first fic I read was a DM/HG fic on Pureblood, and second was an SS/HG on Ashwinder. I've been hooked ever since. :)
I still really like both of those pairings, though I tend to read more SS/HG than DM/HG - who can resist the sexy Potions master? :)
I am also attempting to write my own fic - DM/HG - so if you're into that ship, feel free to tell me what you think. And I'm always interested in reading a good fic so if you have any "must read" recs, feel free to drop me a line. I'm always looking for new stories to get hooked on. lol

That last part was perfect. How 'he survived Voldemort and the war, Albus Dumbledore and even the dunderheads the man forced him to teach. Well, he thought, if this was his fate - death by Hermione - he would leave this world a happy and contented man, wrapped in the arms of the beautiful witch now lying at his side.'

I think of Sev as someone who 'planned on not making it' during the war so I kinda pulled from that idea, like he's always wondering when he'll finally meet his fate or that he believes he's living on borrowed time. But I also thought, 'what would be Sev's happiest ending' if indeed there had to be one... and viola - death by Hermione LOLThanks so much for the read and review!!

I like the fact that he seems convinced that she will kill him through accidental body-part-induced asphyxiation ... and that he is ok with that. You make it so, so clear just which brain is doing his thinking for him.

great story! i loved the set up, and enjoyed watching severus play cat-and-mouse with her for a bit. and then - wow! very hot. perfectly paced for ultimate pleasure. (does that sound like a tagline from one of the boxes in that shop?)

Death by Hermione, a fitting end indeed. As delicious as the smut was, what I really liked about this story was the depiction of the insecurities and hesitance of the characters. By the time you got them into bed, it was so much more than a mere PWP.
