Mostly Harmless! Though I have to admit, I'm even stranger than I appear. ;-) There's a pile of unbeta'd stuff on my LJ (dracfic) if you're interested in Raw, Untamed, fanfic.
Believe it or not, "How Argus Filch Got Wild, Got Laid, and Got His Magic" has been rec'ed by Know It Alls! It's true! They gave me this pretty lil' ribbon and everything! And in March 2007, they saw fit to likewise reccommend (as an antidote to angst) the story that started it all, 'Courtesy of Your Fairy God-Jarvey'--just in time for the first anniversary of that story's posting! *hugs Harm*
(I also have to admit that 'mostly harmless' may not be the most apt description of a member of the Mad Chatters...)
Finally, I just have to say... Storyville. If you were there, you know what I mean.Reviews for Elixir
I'm as absorbed in the re-reading.. Keep up the awesome work! I think you are a brilliant author.

Aha, so they are Slytherins then?
Response from dracontia (Author of Elixir)
Slytherins of a slightly new stripe--though they retain classic Slytherin ambition (and a degree of slipperiness!) :)

Oh! Very nice continuation. I'm sorry that Scorpius's parents are divorcing, and I understand his want for a brother or sister.Their friendship and banter is highly entertaining, and I love Snape's additions to the story. (Snape's not normally a character I like to read in fanfic, but I think yours is wonderful and well characterized.)Great job!

Thank you kindly! Poor Scorpius; I always feel sorry for only children, so I made sure that Al and Lily adopted him right away. :)
I have a lot of fun writing Snape because of his, er, numerous psychological 'quirks.' (As my 6-y-o says, 'He has _issues_.' LOL)

Epilogue or second ended chapter here please? Also, I don't like slash literature although in real life I may find gay couples sweet. What makes you like to write slash in other stories? Is it because straight is too humdrum?
Response from dracontia (Author of Elixir)
I actually don't read slash generally, except a very few H/D stories. But as I've said before, the characters sometimes seem to take their own directions, and if that's the direction they go, that's the way I write them. This particular universe, for example, ended up having two different story arcs. Both ideas came into my mind at the same time, and I could not choose between them, so I wrote both. It gets a little convoluted. I wish I could link the stories to each other in this archive the way I do on my livejournal.
Oh, I love it! Snapey ghost... well, stories with ghosts unsettle me. The idea of being trapped for all eternity on this world, unable to really do anything wigs me out. But Scorpius and Albus Severus do make me laugh. And what IS the booby trap, anyways?
Response from dracontia (Author of Elixir)
Snape may be able to do more as a ghost than he was able to during life--especially grow. (And knowing Slughorn, the booby trap is something thoroughly silly, presuming it works!) I'm glad you enjoyed this outing with the lads.
I love the incorporation of Snape into this. (and I LOVED your A/N. Poor Scorpius, trying to keep his parents together.
Response from dracontia (Author of Elixir)
LOL Snape will not be left out of this, even though he complains all the way! Thank you for reviewing!

Snape's not the only one laughing. This series is hysterical. I love these boys, and I have to admit when I read the (damned) epilogue, I was thoroughly disgusted. But these two need a book of their own! Fabulous!
Author's Response: Thanks again! Oh, these two will give Snape ample cause to laugh over the course of the series (he is particularly amused in Episode 4!) Although if his appearance weren't permanently fixed by ghosthood, they'd also give him plenty of gray hair. ^_^
The epilogue is a serious case of... well, mom always said 'When life gives you lemons, make lemonade," but dealing with the epilogue is more like making wine out of sour grapes! LOL
Amusing!

Thank you! Glad to see you're OK, since you disappeared so quickly from chat on Friday! :)
yay! i enjoyed this story as much as the first one. i love this pairing as you write it. this had me guffawing: Congratulations, Potter. I have no responsibility whatsoever with regards to your miserable spawn, yet he still succeeds in vexing the hell out of me.i just adore snarky snape ghost!i look forward to the next!

Thanks kindly for the review--I'm glad you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
Number 3 is in the beta process--Stay tuned. :D
Ah this is too cute. One question though, Why is Severus haunting the Shieking Shack?
Response from dracontia (Author of Elixir)
Thank you! I understood that poor Severus cashed in his chips in the Shack, hence his current location. It also makes a handy plot device. :)
Response from Arabella Bloodgood (Reviewer)
You are so right I completely forgot about that. I think I had better go reread DH again. lol
I just adore these two in your so very capable hands. They're a joy to read. And of course Severus is ALWAYS welcome in ANY capacity. ^.~Great job!
Response from dracontia (Author of Elixir)
Thank you very much! I shall pass your compliments along to the crew, and I have high hopes that Severus will... frown less severely at me for it. :D
Hehe... The Misadventures of the New Gruesome Twosome. I really enjoy this!
Response from dracontia (Author of Elixir)
LOL Thanks very much! And that is a most apt subtitle for the lads and their mischief! :D
“I grew up in the shadow of James Potter, Human Warning Label. I know a bad idea when I see it.”
That's hilarious! Thanks for a great read with my breakfast.
Response from dracontia (Author of Elixir)
:D Who says that learning from others' mistakes can't be fun?
You're most welcome for the read--thanks very much for the review!
Cute. I would love to see more adventures of Al and Scorp and their ghostly observer. It's good to know that even in death Snape can't escape dunderheads.
Response from dracontia (Author of Elixir)
Episode 3 is in the beta process. Hee... poor Snape. He'd be lost without his dunderheads. :D
Thanks for reviewing!
