The best way to get a child to do something is to tell them not to do it. Albus and Scorpius are living proof. Fortunately, God—or one of his agents—looks out for fools and children. And foolish children…

Mostly Harmless! Though I have to admit, I'm even stranger than I appear. ;-) There's a pile of unbeta'd stuff on my LJ (dracfic) if you're interested in Raw, Untamed, fanfic.
Believe it or not, "How Argus Filch Got Wild, Got Laid, and Got His Magic" has been rec'ed by Know It Alls! It's true! They gave me this pretty lil' ribbon and everything! And in March 2007, they saw fit to likewise reccommend (as an antidote to angst) the story that started it all, 'Courtesy of Your Fairy God-Jarvey'--just in time for the first anniversary of that story's posting! *hugs Harm*
(I also have to admit that 'mostly harmless' may not be the most apt description of a member of the Mad Chatters...)
Finally, I just have to say... Storyville. If you were there, you know what I mean.Reviews for Do Not Enter: Off Limits to Students
Loved this, so sweet, and the boys being so loved that thay know ,if thay reach out, a warm hand will always be there for them. Uncle George still managing mischief, and Severus still protecing Potter and Malfoy. Salt tears at the end balance the sweetness. Wonderful.

Old habits die hard--it would take a lot more than plain ol' death to stop Severus acting on his better nature. Thank you kindly for reviewing!

Thanks! The lads have already embarked on their next 4 adventures with the good professor, actually. :D
Heehee Wonder if he knew Al's middle name-- lol
Response from dracontia (Author of Do Not Enter: Off Limits to Students)
Not yet (nor in the next installment, just posted!)--but there might be something on that topic in Episode 3 of the Al and Scorp show!
Thanks kindly for the review!
cute! thanks

You're very welcome! Thank you for the review. =)
Happy New Year!
This was a wonderful little tale -- and I'm almost embarassed to admit that I didn't guess the identity of the helpful ghost -- I thought it was Lupin! Thanks for sharing -- I'm looking forward to the sequels.
Response from dracontia (Author of Do Not Enter: Off Limits to Students)
Thank you, for reviewing! I think it's a bit more fun to be surprised by the ghost. (And I admit, Lupin is a rather more likely candidate for a helpful spirit!)
This story is great and I think you are a wonderful author.

*blush* Thank you! It was good of you to take the time to review. I hope you will enjoy the sequels. :D
Response from Arabella Bloodgood (Reviewer)
yeah I look forward to them
i enjoyed this story very much. i loved your depictions of al and scorp, and i loved the idea of them being good friends. and although i have a decided preference for stories in which the writers manage to bring severus back from the dead, i did enjoy him as the ghost, still taking care of the little dunderheads, no matter how much he might complain!i'm happy there will be sequels. i will be on the lookout for them.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I, too, have a decided preference for Alive!Severus--but this plot bunny dictated otherwise.
(Severus has stated that his preference is to ignore the final book and avoid all that messy death business altogether. When possible, I respect his wishes. LOL!)
The sequels only await their beta treatment before posting. Thank you kindly for your interest!
Awwww....
Excellent. I too am ashamed that I didn't figure out the ghost before the end. But maybe that made it a little better for me...
Good job!
Response from dracontia (Author of Do Not Enter: Off Limits to Students)
Thank you! I think it's probably more fun, for the ghost to be a bit of a surprise. :)
Really cool little story. I loved the kids - the next Hogwarts duo! I hope you write more with these two - or let them meet the ghost of Snape...
Response from dracontia (Author of Do Not Enter: Off Limits to Students)
LOL You must have been sitting on Santa's lap when you hoped that... I have two finished sequels awaiting beta reading in my file!
Thanks so much for reviewing!
This was to adorable (and we all knew who the ghost was)!
Response from dracontia (Author of Do Not Enter: Off Limits to Students)
Thank you--I'm glad you enjoyed it! (And please tell the cranky ghost to stop glaring at me, 'twas not I who called him adorable... LOL)
*snickers* I wonder what Severus would think if he knew he just helped a dunderhead named after himself.
Lovely tale!
Response from dracontia (Author of Do Not Enter: Off Limits to Students)
LOL This tale created a monster, so to speak. The rabid plot bunny wouldn't let go until I wrote 4 sequels to it in a single afternoon, so there will be more of what Severus thinks--and discovers--as it progresses.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for reviewing! :)
Oh my God I can't believe I didn't see who the ghost was until I read it. This is even my first Al/Scorpius story and I must say I love it. It's just wonderful from beginning to (especially magnificent) end. Thank you so much for this!!!
Response from dracontia (Author of Do Not Enter: Off Limits to Students)
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I'm also glad that Snape was a surprise. :D (I think I'll go back and change the characters to 'name withheld' so that other folks have a shot at enjoying the little twist. Thanks for the idea!)
That was really sweet... loved your Al and Scorp.. =)
Response from dracontia (Author of Do Not Enter: Off Limits to Students)
Thank you! I'm afraid those little scamps and the plot bunny they rode in on have set up camp in my brain. Expect future installments. LOL
I love their habit of holding hands - even as 13 y.o. boys. And Snape the protector, I didn't see that one coming! Nicely written.
Response from dracontia (Author of Do Not Enter: Off Limits to Students)
Thank you! I hope that the subsequent installments will prove satisfying.

OMG that was so cute and sweet, every bit of it, and then I cried at the end and I am so mad at you for making me cry and... and.... argh!
Put a warning from now on. "If you are susceptible to mirth and merriment that eventually leads to maudlin moments, you may wish to skip this." *sniff* Twas excellent.
Author's Response: Oh, dear! *hastens to get a kleenex*
Will add hanky warnings from now on--perhaps TPP should add 'Flangst' (Fluffy angst) to its list of categories/warnings!
And, for the record--the rest of the series is a bit up-and-down on the humor/angst/fluff scale--but each episode ends up bringing Snape a little further out of his self-imposed exile in the Shrieking Shack, and a little closer to having a happier afterlife than he did a life.
...
OK, now I made myself cry about Ultimately HappyGhost!Snape. Bugger.
