OK, so I have two days off to laze in front of the comptuer reading your work...That was just too cute... In such a cute fashionand don't you hate those random and stray commas that keep trying to sneak into stories?

Response from chivalric (Author of Strolling Through the Wood)

Commas are my nemesis, dear. They do what they want, and occasionally, I dream about them. As I am not a native speaker, I now have the unique situation that I don't know where to place commas in either language. And this is inconvenient, as I am a journalist in real life :-)Thanks for reviewing this poem. I am very fond of it, I laughed tears whilst writing it, and I have to read it to my son regularly *g*But hey - all the commas in that one should be ok!

That was sooo funny! I'm German and read the Gruffalo for the first time only 3 weeks ago, so I'm quite glad I hadn't read this sooner, or I'd have missed sso much! Great work!!!

Response from chivalric (Author of Strolling Through the Wood)

Danke! Ich konnte nicht widerstehen, das Gruffalo in Snape umzutaufen ;-) Mein Sohn ist mittlerweile scharf auf beide Versionen.Danke fürs review - und Grüße vom Bodensee.

Response from chivalric (Author of Strolling Through the Wood)

I'm awfully sorry, but there's a new poem on the way, so don't stay in bed too long ;-)

You did an excellent job with this. The lines seems to flow and the piece had a child's literature feel to it. I hope your son has more books that inspire you. Also, thanks for the link to "How the Snape Stole Christmas."

Response from chivalric (Author of Strolling Through the Wood)

Thank you so much for the lovely review - I nearly didn't post the poem as I feared it to be just too silly. And although my son guards his books very severely, there are definetely more stories waiting to get posted ;-)

Lol, didn't really know what this was when I started reading, and yes, it is kind of nonsense but it's fun and you've done a marvelous work in the writing. Congratulations! Loved it!

Response from chivalric (Author of Strolling Through the Wood)

Thank you so much for the review!

I love this poem. I am always reading 'The Gruffalo' to my niece so I love that you used it as your inspiration.

Response from chivalric (Author of Strolling Through the Wood)

I must admit, I got the idea whilst I read the Gruffalo to my son. He now has the choice between the real Gruffalo and the sneery one. It seems he likes them both equally, but well, he's only five :-) Thanks for reviewing!

very charming.  i always appreciate a rhyming poem that doesn't feel forced, and you carried it off quite well.

Response from chivalric (Author of Strolling Through the Wood)

Thanks! Was the first time I've done something like that...

Thisis really cute and the flow of the rhyme very well done. I'm not usually into poems - but I really like this one.

Response from chivalric (Author of Strolling Through the Wood)

Lovely little diversion.  I am very impressed -- I can't write any type of fiction, especially poetry.  Yours is grand.  Thanks, JoAnne

Response from chivalric (Author of Strolling Through the Wood)

Thanks! I read the Gruffalo to my boy and all of a sudden Snape was in my mind ;-)

This is such a lovely bit of nonsense that I'm imensely grateful to finally making it through all your fics. This one would have been a shame to pass. Thanks for the giggle.

Response from chivalric (Author of Strolling Through the Wood)

You truly read all my fics? I'm sort of embarrassed - I know I wrote some strange stuff and I am grateful you could be bothered to work your way through them. Thanks, and thanks for leaving reviews!

Response from nata (Reviewer)

Not all yet. Once upon a time I started at the beginning, and this time in the end. So it is not all checked yet. But I am getting there. As an author, you made an impression with Snape's Bed, when I first read that and a few other. You certainly cemented my interest in At the Beach, and I try to follow. Your stories are remarkable in stable quality, and what I especially appreciate is that your stories tell the essential plot, the story, and refuse to succumb to expanding beyond logic. I love that.
