Being Severus, he probably dumped the entire lot in a dustbin before he got back to Hogwarts. Or made the House Elves cook it for him. Though I wouldn't put it past him to hide the fish somewhere in Malfoy Manor under a concealment charm, them smirk while Lucius complained about the smell. ;D
Oh God. I hate you.
Just kidding. I'm in my first year of college after having been raised by someone who knew their way around the kitchen, and I have had to stop myself from wasting the little money I have as a college student on good cheeses several times.
I have a feeling after reading this I may not able to help myself next time :-P
If I can't afford tuition I'm blaming this fic :-P

I can't help but smile when I read this. Bad food is certainly quite enough to make one grumpy, bad institutional food... well, that would explain a lot of things!I must say I appreciate the professors taste in cheese.*checking bank balance to see if I can afford to go to the store. I seem to have very different taste in food from Rowling; I found the descriptions of the meals in the books to be somewhat stomach turning. So I started imagining what it would be like to be forced to eat that way day after day. And this was the result.

Thank you. And there are several more installments to come. I do enjoy writing the occasional fluffy, flirty piece, so it's nice to know they're appreciated.

Busted, indeed. Though, if he'd been worried about it, he would have hidden the evidence more carefully. I think he was sure enough of himself by then that he didn't care.

oh, la! I loved this chapter and especially loved the summary: How to prepare for a date when Severus is on the menu. How do I get him on my menu? And two bottles of champagne? Woman's bound and determined to get him drunk!!!

Getting Severus on the menu is just a matter of typing up the right menu. The tricky part is arranging for the kitchen to actually deliver. They have a bad habit of telling me they're all out and I have to order something else.
I don't think she wanted him drunk, as that could impede performance. Just ... suggestible. ;D

He is, after all, a Slytherin. Scheming to get her to chase after him is much more satisfying than simply chasing her.
