How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
Fish.

I love this idea. A great twist on not one, but two great books!
Ohhhh very good! I liked this a lot. Very dense visually and very succinct verbally. I found that Lolita influenced my own story too.
Oh my that is nice and twisted. Well done!

It is one of the reasons I like you so much. When I read your profile here on PP I snorted with laughter. The coworkers were confused as to why I was laughing...
I thought you didn't have an account at TPP. *shrugs*
Nice drabble, darling. You know it's one of my faves.

I do! I thought you knew about it! After you and AB7 kept pestering me to get one I finally caved :)But, if it isn't a bugger to get things posted. Makes me wish I had a permanent beta, lol.

I really liked this, even though I don't understand where it came from. Was it a challenge? And, what book did the bolded phrases come from? I saw a flicker of something I knew on her face. For some reason, that line was really powerful to me. All in all, a fascinating read. Thanks for sharing!

It was written for the GS100 drabble community, for the challenge Pg. 197, where you had to take pg.197 of any book and incorporate the books' text into the story. I chose Nabokov's "Lolita" and all bolded text is his. Thanks for reviewing!
