Is there more to this story?  I really hope so, as I've very much enjoyed this first chapter.

Wow. I love it. Update soon. I'm glad Hermione found Ron in a very compromising position with that unkown witch. I like the relationship between Dramione.

Great start don't stop, I am really interested to find out what Malfoy thinks of the dress. I can't believe Ron would really do that but I always liked Draco and Hermione as a couple better than Ron and Hermione. I really like your descriptions and attention to detail. I cannot wait for the next chapter!

How Draco gently loves her from afar is touching, and their friendship and affinity are the ideal base for a strong love.

And about Ron...I don't mind how he and Hermione break their relationship in fictions, as long as she finally get paired with Draco or Severus ;)

I'm not normally a HG/DM shipper, but I've been reading more stories in that vein lately, and this is one of the best that I've come across.  I like Ron as a character, but I don't understand the romantic pairing overall... I can much more easily see her with Draco, Snape... even Harry.  I'm so looking forward to the next chapter.  Thanks for sharing.  Peace!  ~ j

Oh, is there any chance that you might write another chapter of this or are you letting your readers imagine what happens next? I can just picture that shop window and the red gown (and hear the tune to the song "The Lady in Red"). Honestly, as much as I like Hermione/Severus fics, well written Hermione/Draco fics are my favourite.Great writing and characterization as well as being able to set a scene (without falling into the "laundry list" trap)!

I like this story, and I look forward to reading more. I never could understand why JKR paired Hermione with Ron -- she needs someone who can keep her on her toes as well as keep up with her intellectually so that she won't get bored, and Ron doesn't strike me as being up to the task. That's why I'm typically a Hermione/Severus shipper (hence my presence on this site!) -- but the funny thing is that as a result of reading this story, I realized that when I'm not reading HG/SS fic, it's some kind of Hermione/insert-your-favorite-Slytherin(s)-here fic! If it's not Severus, it's often HG/LM or HG/BZ with an occasional foray into HG/DM, HG/VK. or even HG/PP. Believe it or not, I even found a HG/GG fic once which was rather good (if heavily AU). A manifestation of my latent bad-boy fixation, perhaps...in all honesty, I think that all HP fanfic aficionados whose favorite romantic heroes are Slytherin must have one. I'm a card-carrying good girl and I've learned to avoid the bad boys in real life, but I still hanker after them on some level.

An excellent chapter very funny in parts. Character developement very good plot interesting. A nicely paced read with just enough suspense.

As in "God Bless the Broken Road that led me straight to you?" Ron should have been sent to his Mum in that state.

Hi, Britt!  You have no idea how thrilled I am to see this story here!  This was the first story by you that I read -- and it was before I knew you!  I think it was one of the first DMHG's I read after plowing through Bunney's journal, and it is still one of my favorites.  I think this may be the fifth or sixth time I've read, and I love it more each time.

The friendship you portray between Hermione and Draco, with the hint of more simmering under the surface, is absolutely lovely.  I love how subtly you hint early on at problems in Hermione and Ron's relationship. Speaking of Ron, my favorite moment is yet to come, but the idiotic things you have him say are FABULOUS. "It was an accident!" and "I washed the sheets!" always make me laugh out loud.  

It's a delightful story, and one I often come back to when I need a little DMHG pick-me-up.
