I hate writing autobiographies...
My name is Emily, I'm 25 years old, and I'm from Boston.
I write SS/HG and nothing else, with the exception of SS/HG/LM.
My biggest WIP is In Times of War, and it will come to completion at about 125,000 words.

Reviews for In Times of War
Ah ha! Turn about if fair play -- now Hermione has seen the Professor's almost nekked body, and she can't stop herself from thinking about it. "Snape actually had quite a body."After a little verbal sparring, they come to be on a first name basis. I love it! And, of course, she refers to him as Severus to Ginny. And, of course, Ginny has to smile and make something of it. And, of course, Hermione has to dissemble by telling her that “We’re adults now, Ginny. There’s no need for us to keep referring to him as our professor." And, of course, I don't think Ginny is fooled for one second.Let's hope that Ginny's successfully teaching Hermione to use Occlumency will carry through to the next day when she will be in the Dark Lord's presence.Another great chapter! Well done!!!Beth
Lets see..... I guess the first thing I recall from this chapter is that Snape saw Hernione's "nekked" body. These kinds of thought always comes back to him later, and I love to see him struggle with them. Sorry, what can I say for myself? I'm evil? Nah! I just like watching him come to terms with himself.I loved the way Snape handled Malfoy. The master at work!
And the closing of the chapter, perhaps, gives us a hint of things to come. The Dark Lord will allow Snape to take Hermione "to have his way with her" after her usefulness to him is finished. Of course, Snape puts the squash on that idea by telling her “Yes, he means for me to have my way with you. I am sure he would find it quite amusing, in fact. I, however, have no desire to spend any more time in present company than is absolutely necessary. Goodnight!” BUT, that is just what our heroine is thinking about as she falls to sleep. Hummmm..........Good chapter!Beth
A lot is going on here! Hermione realizes that: (a) Snape saved her from certain death at the hands of Bellatrix Lestrange, that he protected her from Lord Voldemort, and that he had carried her to relative safety at his home at Spinner's End.(b) Several members of the Order were killed: Alastor Moody, Elphias Doge, Sturgis Podmore and Bill Weasley.(c) Snape had not wanted to kill Dumbledore, and that Minerva McGonagall was now head of the Order.(d) Snape sees Hermione in the bath. (I always like that part) (e) Lucius is on his way. You, dear author, have been very busy! Way to GO!Beth
Your Prologue had captured my attention, and I am looking forward to following the action. There are three points in your Prologue that confirmed to me that there was something interesting going on in your story and cemented my decision to follow it to its conclusion:#1 & #2- Harry assured Hermione that he was not going to sacrifice himself in battle and that she was not going to die either:Fear filled her heart as she imagined what he might be alluding to. Could he be that reckless? Was it possible that he planned to sacrifice himself for the good of the Order of the Phoenix? “Shhh,” he warned. “I’m not going to do that, Hermione. I will live, and so will you.”#3- Harry assured Hermione that the way things appeared at first glance did not necessarily correspond to the way things truly were:He smiled at her. ‘Everything will be okay, Hermione. Things are not as they seem. Remember that.’A good beginning! Thanks.Beth
Ohhh I can't wait to see what will happen next.

Thank you!
Well, I'm sure at some point he 'will have he way with her', just not in the way she expected. Lolo Very enjoyable.

Thank you! I'm sure you will get your wish... hehe. Thanks for the review!
Poor Hermione, and well, Snape is Snape. I'm quite sure there has to be a better way to learn Occlumency.

Awe, thank you, dear. I'm really excited to see what everyone thinks of this. I've been writing it for so long, now, it will be great to see how the readers respond to the next few chapters (as they were my first). *hugs*Emily
Oy, out of the frying pan. This is excellent. I look forward to more.Truly

*snrkle*Cute metaphor. Thank you for the lovely comment. Chapter Two should be in the queue very, very soon. As I said in the Author's Notes, I believe I should have a new chapter up every three days for quite some time. Thank you for reviewing!-Emily
bahhhhh!! *wimpering but not sure why* update!!! omg amazing!!
Response from acciobook7 (Author of In Times of War)
Oh! Oh! My first true fangirl-ish response! *loves you*I have updated already, but there seems to be a problem in the structure when it goes to publish... it's odd. I've been working with an admin (i.e., my beta. hehe. I love having an admin as my beta ), and I should have the problem corrected tonight. She's on Chapter Two right now (beta-wise), and I expect to have a new chapter up approximately every three days until it gets to where I'm at, which is Chapter 19. I can't wait to see what you think of it!
Interesting start to a story. I can't wait to see where you take this.
Response from acciobook7 (Author of In Times of War)
Thank you! I believe Chapter One should be approved sometime tonight or tomorrow. Chapter Two should be submitted in the next couple of days, followed by Chapter Three, and so on, and so forth, up through Chapter 18. Then I'll post the new stuff. Thanks for reviewing!
Interesting start. I'll look forward to more.

As you wish, my dear. It's in the queue as we speak, just waiting to be pushed through. I expect a new chapter to pop up every two days-or-so. I am about 107,000 in at this point, as a matter of fact. I expect to wrap this up within the month.
Thank you for reviewing. The reviews really are the lifeblood of the writer.

This is such a wonderfully written story. This prologue does such a good job of pulling us in, and I just can't wait for the things I know are coming! Woot!

Thank you. It has been a WIP for more than a year now. I'm actually just about finished with it.
I will be posting another chapter about every three days until the story is caught up (through Chapter 19), and then I will post the new ones. I expect to conculde this within the next month or so.
I'd strap on your reading seatbelt, though... I've already finished about 107,000 words. Yep... this is gonna be a long ride.

Interesting start. I like what yu have done so far and I think Severus in his 'dominering form' is perfect at this stage of the game.
Response from acciobook7 (Author of In Times of War)
You are quite correct about a domineering Severus. I only write a canon Snape... in fact, I can't stand it when authors have him out of character. It really takes away from the fics. I hope you stay tuned! Thanks for reviewing!
Can't wait for more, but isn't it just a little to soon for Hermione to go back to Voldemort, she just successfuly learned occulmency?
Response from acciobook7 (Author of In Times of War)
Yes it definitely is. I'm sure she'd stay away if she had any choice... alas...
Thank you for reviewing =)
