*holds up hand* I do solemnly swear that I will never leave a story unfinished.
After so many years writing, nothing drives me quite so crazy as leaving myself (not to mention my readers! ) hanging. So I will never post anything without the guaranteed promise to finish it.
I'm a globe-trotting recent grad who currently makes her home in San Francisco, where you have to wear a coat all summer long. I've been writing for over eight years, including fanfic, original fic, poetry, and research dissertations. I've just recently finished my first multichapter Harry Potter fic (SS/HG). It's called "Memento Amori" and is perhaps the favorite of my literary offspring.
I am also the proud sire of two one-shots, "More Than a Dream" and "Serpensortia" - which took runner-up in the Potter Place Summer '07 Prompt Challenge.

Absolutely amazing!! Thank you for a VERY badly needed laugh!Missy/LovesRickman
Outstanding fic!!!Very well written and the portrayal of your 'cast' was dead on (excuse the pun) I can't tell you how much I enjoyed Nagani's voice in this story.Creative and witty! 5 stars for you and 5 mice for the narrator.
Response from Olethros (Author of Serpensortia)
Glad that you enjoyed this! Nagini wants you to know that she greatly appreciates th mice. :-D
Very amusing and quite fun! Imaginative use of dead snakes and its POV. ;D
Wow, this was awesome! I loved that it was solely from Nagini's pov and that she was so non-human in her way of thinking. That she didn't bear grudges, like in calling Neville Sir Neville in acknowledgement that he killed her. Or the way she spoke of the people she ate as nothing more than meals. Just like we would speak of apples for example. I'm sure the other apples think we're really mean and stuff for eating their species members... Um, okay, that took a strange turn.
I loved the way she didn't know names but nicknamed people. I particularly liked her called Hermione Medusa and I love how the nicknames were included in the summary too. I was expecting something highly mythological and whatnot and then when I realised it was all Nagini's POV I went 'wow, cool!'
I'm glad Harry asked her how she managed to eat when she was only a head though. I was wondering the same thing.
This was a great story. Nagini rocks! :D

I went through an extensive meditative process to put myself into the mind of a decapitated snake, involving sandalwood incense, a burnt offering of parchment, and a black-haired hook-nosed blow-up do-- oh wait, that's to get into someone else's head. ;-P
I'm so happy that the POV has been so popular; it was a challnge and ultimately a joy to write. Glad you enjoyed!
This was brilliant, and funny, and touching, too. I loved all the anatomical details and the unique point of view. And Sir Neville tops it all. Bravo!
Response from Olethros (Author of Serpensortia)
Good to know that all my time spent studying wikipedia cross-sections of snake anatomy were appreciated! :)
What a hoot! Nagini telling Snape it's time to mate with Hermione and rescuing old Moody to boot :)
Cute little piece.
One word - marvelous!
Really fantastic. I loved Nagini's POV!
This was brilliant -- I love your Nagini, and I love Hermione's better idea for her afterlife.
This is brilliant. Nagini's PoV is hilarious.
oooh! Different from what I expected going into it -- it read to me as dark and quirky and really funny all at once without getting too too.... Well Nice one-shot. Snape's shyness? around Hermione was really sweet and cute and I liked Harry seeking understanding from Nagini. I'm going to check out your other writings now too!
Response from Olethros (Author of Serpensortia)
Dark, quirky, and funny all at once is exactly the tone I was going for! Glad you enjoyed it. :)
EXCELLENT story told from the POV of Nagini. Especially loved the ending! LOL, what a commotion. Very nicely done.
Thank you for the laugh!~Lotm
That elicited quite a few chuckles from me. :-D Very nice!
That was fun, and I liked the idea of Nagini serving as agony-aunt in his afterlife.
Thanks for the laugh this morning. Loved this story.
What a great take on this prompt! I love the slant you've given to Nagini's POV and that she ended up sort of helping Hermione and Severus get together. Despite a few broken bottles and chicken Transfigurations. *g*
Very very funny! Much needed. And with a serious undertone. The best kind of humor.
Absolutely, positively hilariious!
Loved Nagini's POV!
Eww. Squick. This sick little fic really appeals to my warped sense of humor. And you even managed a happy ending for Nagini. Good job.
Response from Olethros (Author of Serpensortia)
But a talking head is hilarious! Alfonso Cuaron must have thought so as well to add one to the Knight Bus. ;-P
Glad you enjoyed!
