Reviews for Daybreak
just read evening and now this one. they are really lovely. i see that you had thought of doing a third one? did that happen? is it posted somewhere? i would love to read more - there is such a sweet, gentle quality to this world you've created for the two of them.
I found the first one you wrote very delicate of Severus. This one is more "busy" which is more like Hermione. And I think I know where you're leading us with the third part. Let's see (hopefully soon) if I'm right or not.

I'm really glad that you've picked up on the differences. I think Severus is very much an introspective person, moreso than Hermione, who is more social and conversational. That's what I was going for in terms of setting, as well. Snape seems to be more of an evening, likewise with Hermione and daybreak. Anyway, the third part will be along very shortly. I didn't consciously leave any clues, but the minute I read your review, I realized that the natural progression would be to write the POV of...well, I don't think I'll tell you just yet :o)Thank again for the review! Have a good one, Sue.ickles.
A lovely, lovely story! (As is Evening, btw - I think I may have forgotten to leave a review for that. ) I really liked the unrushed feel of it, all the details, the small moments - it felt warm and comfortable.
I'd love to see more stories set in this universe.

Thanks so very much! I love hearing feedback, especially when it's so positive. I am also very glad that the mood was conveyed appropriately. I really wanted to get that war, comfortable thing going between Snape and Hermione. I'll definitely be adding to this little world, thought I'm not sure exactly what that'll be. Whatever I decide to do, it won't be long, I tend to write fast once I've thought on a story for awhile. Thanks again for your thoughts! Have a good one -ickles.
Yay! I've been looking forward to this since I read 'Evening'. I really enjoyed this one too. It's all the little details that make it really lovely to read, how comfortable they are in each other's company, how familiar they are with each other's habits. It's nice too, that although there are things left unsaid, they both seem to know where their relationship is headed (Hermione more so than Severus - maybe?). It's more pleasant expectation than edgy tension.
I read that you're writing another piece to join these two - looking forward to it!
Also applauding the one-woman-anti-canon-complicance movement! You should have a look at the Snapedom comm over on LJ - you'll find likeminded souls. :)

!!! <-- That was my initial reaction to this review :o) I'm so very glad to hear your thoughts. It's just about the greatest thing ever to hear that you were looking foward to this, and the fact that you enjoyed it makes it even better! I would definitely say that Hermione knows where things are going, and that Severus is just a bit clueless. Hence the lack of tension. Snape doesn't strike me as the type of person who spent his adolescence being pursued, so he really doesn't know what to expect. At least in my head. And, do my eyes decieve me, or are you looking foward to yet another installment? Well, then, I better get started, wouldn't want to disappoint! Really, though, the reviews make it happen. "Evening" was supposed to be a one-shot, after all, and you can see how well that plan worked. Thanks again for the wonderful review! Have a good one,-ickles.P.S. The F.C.C.C. and it's affiliates (a.k.a. me and, er...no one) dearly appreciate the little cheerleading smiley emoticon. Your contibution to the movement means a lot!Yet another P.S.I think perhaps I posted this response as a separate review. Well, um, that's embarassing. Anyway, I don't think I can delete that so I'll just respond again, in the right place this time. Ha.
Well done!

Thanks! I'm so pleased to hear your thoughts :D The F.C.C.C. is alive and well as long as people continue to live in denial, and I'm happy to say I'm one of those! Have a good one, -ickles.
Awww!!! I loved it. Can't wait for the next part!
