Reviewed“I’m afraid it will have to wait, Miss Granger,” interjected Minerva. “I did promise your mother you’d be home directly after tea.”
Hermione frowned, nodding. “Of course, Headmistress. My insatiable thirst for knowledge does overwhelm me at times.”
Severus rose from his chair. “Thank you for a lovely afternoon, ladies. Miss Granger, I look forward to attempting to quench your thirst in the very near future. I shall owl you soon.”
Minerva’s glare could have curdled cream, but Hermione didn’t notice. “I will look forward to it, sir. Have a pleasant evening.”
Severus nodded, leaving the room with robes swirling.
Professor Snape,
I hope you don’t find me too forward, but are there any books you think I may find useful in assisting with your research?

As much as I love this story, I do have a nit to pick. Hermione's owl should probably be named something other than Camus (assuming that he's named after Albert Camus)...because Camus would not even be born until almost a century after the end of the Regency era.

And? Do you feel better now? This isn't a review, it isn't even concrit. If you have a "nit to pick", it's considered polite and is mandated in TPP site guidelines to email the author instead. In any case, you're incorrect about the owl's name. Camus means "flat nosed" in Old French and is a reference to the flat faces of most owls.
This was a lovely jaunt through the regency era. I adored it all. I just love the random story button!!

This was utterly adorable. I'm glad they spotlighted this on the SS/HG Quiz. I never would have known about it otherwise. Good show!

I rather enjoy that Severus told Hermione his intentions before owling her father. It shows his respect for the person who would ultimately be left with the decision.
