This was for the no dialog challenge over on GS100. A dark little set of drabbles from Snape's POV.

Brrrrrr! That was sad and scary at the same time. What a horrid nightmare. At least I hope it was a nightmare! Very effective and well written.

I know, bad author... late response back. But thank you so much for the review, I'm happy to know it came accross well. :)
Okay, I know I already reviewed, but I just had another thought regarding this fic. Is this a manifestation of his guilt? My first thought was that he was drawing parallels between Harry and Ginny's relationship and his own with Hermione. I know, that was stupid of me. Anyway, now that I consider it, it would be fitting for Severus to connect Hermione with Lily on some level, and recollections of Lily would probably inspire guilt. I would so love a little happy sequel if you get around to it! Thanks again,

You are definitely correct on the guilt. I'm sure he feels guilty and somewhat responsible for Lily's death and so here his dream manifests that as well as the idea that he'll only kill the women he loves. I am attempting to plot a sequel. :)
I agree "Character Death" should have been used. I know it's a dream but why would he do that? curious and well written

I did add the warning after I got that review. :) And I think it's his subconscious telling him that he'll only kill the woman(en) he loves(d). Quite cruel.Thank you for the review, I'm glad you enjoyed!
Oh, wow. Just wow. Poor Severus. I would like to request a sequel if you feel so inclined. I hate leaving him unhappy! Especially in light of recent literary events...

I agree with you on recent literary events. Glad you liked and thanks for the review! I am definitely thinking about some sort of sequel.
Wow, this one takes some thought. It's very good, I like that the dream is open to interpretation, makes for an interesting read. Thanks for writing and for sharing! -

Thank you for the compliment/comment. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :) I usually write things that are open to interpretation... I do find that people connect to it better that way and personally what tends to come on paper for me is more of the emotional side of the story while the actual details are just a glimpse of what's really happening. Thanks again.
Was this a dream? I hope you plan to add to this story.
Response from mistaria (Author of Hands)
It was indeed a dream. I have nothing in the works as a continuation for this at the moment but perhaps at some point in the future. :) Thanks for the review!
Response from FruGal (Reviewer)
Did the action of the hands in the dream have anything to do with Hermione's incessant talking?
Response from mistaria (Author of Hands)
No, I don't think so. ^^ The dream was just supposed to start off as something that could be happening normally between our duo which involved Hermione launching into a discussion with Severus. He was, of course, too distracted to talk. Or more he was not allowed to talk because the challenge was no dialog. ;P
Was this a dream? I hope you plan to add to this story.
Umm.....this needs a 'Character Death' warning - this was an unexpected shock.
Response from mistaria (Author of Hands)
Will make the change, sorry! I must have forgotten since she's not actually dead.
