Cool set up. Forced solitude. Difficult to bear under any circumstance. I imagine more so when you have to watch people you care about fall.
Love the twist with the nuclear war head.

You sure do have a way of telling a story. All of your story are thought provoking it seems from what I have read so far. You have a brilliant mind and I am glad I have been given the chance to read you work. Thank you. Tamara
That's quite a chilling last line--and an interesting twist--that it would be Muggles after all to bring an end to Voldie and nice allusion to Shelley's (?) poem.
That was intense. You know, I found myself trying to figure out whose point of view this was from. It could be a number of people, I suppose. My thinking is it could be Minerva. Albus wanting to keep her safe. (I guess I am an Albus/Minerva romantic.) But Severus would be least likely to succumb to the lonliness and grief. But that wasn't the point of this story, was it, to figure out who was "speaking."
It is nice to read a story where the Muggles are not helpless creatures for a change. It has become the norm to see the Wizarding world as superior and the Muggles as incapable of competing because they lack magic. Nuclear weapons...Muggle "magic." And I also think that sometimes the Wizarding world is inferior because they underestimate the capabilities of the Muggles.
Gosh, I am wordy today. *smirk*

Glad you liked it. It's one of the first ones I wrote.
Well, I figured that it'd be Snape pretty early on, I mean, who else could survive 20 years and more with a mind still intact? Still, interesting how Voldemort's rule paralells Hitler's quest for power. *shudders at the mention of the bomb*, but it could sure come to that, couldn't it?
