Reviews for Follow The Butterflies
This is really cool! I like the idea of the butterfly-guides; I rather assumed you'd stolen the idea from somewhere more illustrious than a one-liner from CoS, but the source hardly matters when the execution is perfect. It's interesting, introspective, and reminds me strongly of some meditation/journey work, which I like. I think I might be adding this to my personal canon, replacing the King's Cross Station chapter from DH. (I think, between all the various retellings out there, we could rewrite The Deathly Hallows quite nicely!)

Thank you so much for the review!! It's been ages since anyone read this story, and it's one of my favorites. I wanted it to be like a meditation (I did a lot of chakra research when I was writing it) so I'm happy that came across. Yes, it's a rather low-brow inspiration, but what can I say? It seems to have worked! ;) I don't know about replacing the King's Cross Station chapter; I though this was more similar to the chapter where Harry goes into the forest and turns over the Stone. Every good hero needs that moment of contemplation. I have also read some great fanfic that could rewrite DH. I think having read a lot of it before DH sort of set the last book up to fail, but what can you do except write more? :) Thanks again for reading this little story and leaving such kind words! ~Gina :)
I cried.... This is so poignant.

This was really sweet and quite true. Harry needs to understand everything you mentioned. Good work.

Thank you very much! I'm so glad you enjoyed this story, and I really appreciate your kind review!! Thanks again!~Gina :)
I feel that Harry will have to take the same path in DH (though perhaps without the butterflies). Hopefully he will learn to forgive and accept those around him, rather than push them away as he has already begun to do.

I agree, Harry will have to undergo some major character development and personal growth in the final book in order to really meet his destiny. I can't wait to read it! Thanks so much for reading this story, and for leaving such a nice review - I really appreciate it!!~Gina :)
