Six years after the war has ended, Harry finds himself in a pub every night, listening to a man play the piano, a man he'd thought was dead. HP/DM
Draco plays, and he knows Potter listens. What he doesn't know is why Potter has never turned him in.

I'm 22, happily unmarried and happily enrolled in the University of my somewhat limited choice... I read constantly and write whenever I have the chance to do so. I sing, I work, I sleep, and I enjoy bickering with my awesome family. That is all.
PS: DMHP. Always.

Oh, I'm so glad to see this one return!I do like the dynamic you have created with the two. Distant yet close without knowing why.Thank you for updating.

Well, I think you've described it perfectly: "Distant yet close without knowing why."That's very true. *nods*Thanks for the review!
Oh my, poor Draco...I've got a feeling as if this were the last scene from "Casablanca". Where Humphrey Bogart walks away into the night with the police officer saying "I guess this might be the beginning of a long friendship" (I only saw the movie in German, so I do not know what the original words were...)

Funny you should mention that; I feel exactly the same way, like it's a cross between Casablanca and Piano Man... lolThanks for reviewing. :-)
This is very, very good. Extremely well-written. Please go on.
Response from Soul Bound (Author of Before I Sleep)
I shall do just that! Thanks so much for reviewing! :-D
Oh, poor Draco, never knowing, and Harry not realizing.
Response from Soul Bound (Author of Before I Sleep)
I know... silly boys. *sigh* I'm glad you're liking it, and I hope future chapters will not disappoint. Thanks!
This is great! I love Ron/Pansy, I'm glad they got together. Draco's reactions to everything are spot-on; I like that he's flippant about the situation, and that he's annoyed that everything's been done and dealt with in his absence. His jealousy and hurt really hit me. *sniff* The emotion's very vivid. I'm liking the premise more and more - gruff, silent men sitting in a pub, occasionally saying something while they drink.Poor, displaced Draco. Can't wait to see what's going on with Harry.

I'm so glad you liked it! I have a weakness for Ron/Pansy myself... And it makes me happy that you agree with me on how Draco would have taken all the news. We shall hear from Harry shortly. :-D
Those two are drawn to each other, aren't they? Nice chapter.
Response from Soul Bound (Author of Before I Sleep)
I certainly think they are. They'd have to be! Fine line between love and hate and all that... Thanks for reviewing! :-D
This fic totally reminds me of the song Piano Man by Billy Joel!!! OMG! anyways, i cant wait to see where this leads.
Response from Soul Bound (Author of Before I Sleep)
lo, me too! I must have had that in mind while I was writing it. Thanks!
Wow. Bleakness. Love it!
Response from Soul Bound (Author of Before I Sleep)
Thanks so much! :-)
Is this a work in progress or does it end there? I'm quite curious to see what would happen and if Draco would go back or not...
