I am married and have three sons. SF and fantasy are my favorite genres and J.R.R. Tolkien, Ursula LeGuin, Robert Jordan (both with and without Brandon Sanderson) and George R.R. Martin are some of my fav authors. I really enjoy reading HP fanfic because there is so much variety. I also write fanfic when I get the time--SS/HG for the most part.
Oh, and my day job is a university professor. (Yeah, I'm a nerd!)

This is just too cool! But - in the summery you state that it is to be a one-shot romance, but it reads like it needs to continue, and you do not have it marked 'yes' as a completed story... So does it continue?? [yes???]

It is actually a one-shot (sorry I mis-marked it--I will correct its status). When I first wrote this, it was supposed to be open-ended, with gaps in the story line to allow the reader to imagine for themselves how Severus and Hermione's relationship progressed. However, I am currently writing a companion piece, mostly from Snape's POV as this one is mostly Hermione's view point.I am really gratified that you thought it was cool! Thanks for taking the time to read and review.
Sad that Hermione turned to the dark. Hopefully she will find innerpeace in her own way.

Yes, I don't think canon Hermione would make the decisions that she did in this little fic--so in that respect it's AU or maybe even OOC. But I was working out some anger over an unrealted issue and this story just popped out as a side effect! Hope you enjoyed anyway and thanks for the review.

I appreciate that you gave this dark fic a chance -- I suppose that not all stories can be fluffy (This one was simply a by-product of my anger.) I am currently writing a companion piece for this one.Thanks for taking the time to read and review!
