I have been a fan of HP fanfiction since early 2005. That summer I discovered Bambu's fabulous "Guard... Check... Mate" here at TPP and realized that there were actually people out there who agreed with me that Dumbledore was NOT an inherently positive figure, that Dumbledore was manipulative and in many cases just as disrespectful of human life as Voldemort. I'd not thought of pairing Hermione and Severus, but suddenly it seemed so obvious!
And I've been stuck here every since!
Reviews for So She Dances
Its so sweet! Such a melancholy, then uplifting- well, not exactly uplifting, but the conclusion is tied together so well! I can understand Severus' avoidance of everyone...and I like the fact that you made Arthur Minister. Lovely work!

Thank you so very much!
stubborn wasn't he, but eventually he saw the error of his ways.
Response from CharmedForce (Author of So She Dances)
He certainly was. But it only takes a short time without her to realize how important she is. Thank you very much for the read and the review!
great story. I really felt the emotions behind it.can't wait to read your other works.
Response from CharmedForce (Author of So She Dances)
Thank you so much for taking the time to not just read, but review! I'm very glad you enjoyed it.
What a beautiful story. I'm glad you showed her calling his bluff and leaving rather than settling. I like it even more that he realized what an idiot he was and came back to her!
Response from CharmedForce (Author of So She Dances)
I think it shows how much he cares for her that he was willing to put himself out there like that again. She may have called his bluff, but sometimes he isn't always sure if he is bluffing. In this case he realized how much he needed her. I'm glad you enjoyed the story, and thank you for reading and reviewing.
I really liked your story! So many times Harry and Severus are at loggerheads. In your story Harry seems to care for Severus almost as much as he does for Hermione.Well done!
Response from CharmedForce (Author of So She Dances)
Thank you for reading it. I wanted to keep the story short, but still show that Harry cares enough for Hermione to try to be friends with Severus. The two men may not get along but they both love Hermione, and must make the effort. If Severus is what makes Hermione happy, then Harry will do what it takes to accept that.
"There, you have used your month's allotment of public displays of affection."Ohh, that is sooo Severus. I just adored this little piece; it made me grin like an utter loon by the end of it. *hugs*

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and review. I apologize at the delay in responding: I somehow missed the notification of your review.
That was very very very sweet, its amazing how some hardships make you realize just how short life is and when you finally realize it, you grab the bull by the horns and run with it!! Very Nicely done...Bravo!
Response from CharmedForce (Author of So She Dances)
Thank you! I had hoped to convey a similar message in the story. Sometimes a man's worst enemy is himself, and his own thoughts, doubts, and insecurities. Luckily Severus gave in before it was too late.
I liked this. A lot! Just the right amount of snarkiness, with a thoroughly satisfying ending!
Response from CharmedForce (Author of So She Dances)
Thank you so much!
Lovely story! Hope he's learned his lesson once and for all!
Response from CharmedForce (Author of So She Dances)
I hope so too! Thank you!
Even though I was really upset with the emotional blackmail Severus pulled on Hermione when he told her it was his way or she knew where the door was, I was very happy to see that she eventually called him on it. Overall this story was a great start to my morning. Thanks for the story.
Response from CharmedForce (Author of So She Dances)
Although I truly think Snape is a good guy deep inside, I think people forget he really isn't a nice person. Hopefully the emotional blackmail shows that even though he is trying, he still reverts to form under pressure.
THank you for the read and review!
A wonderful story. "Fluffy" enough, but not teeth rotting. "Angsty" enough, but not hair pulling. Just right! ^.^ I truly enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.
Response from CharmedForce (Author of So She Dances)
Thank you for the read and review. I'm glad I found the right balance for you!
Sweet... *smiles lost in thought*
Did you, by any chance, name your story after one of Josh Groban's songs? Because it feels like it would fit perfectly...
Good fluffy writing! ^.^
Response from CharmedForce (Author of So She Dances)
Yes, the Josh Groban song was what got this plot bunny jumping. I could just see Severus sulking in the shadows watching Hermione laugh and chat in the party, and I got a little carried away.
Thank you!
Lovely - there is hope for the male species yet...
Response from CharmedForce (Author of So She Dances)
Potentially...
Thank you for reviewing and reading!
Nicely done story, I liked it very much. Slightly fluffy, but not agonizingly so. Just the right amount... in my humble opinion. *grin* Cheers!
Response from CharmedForce (Author of So She Dances)
Oh good! I'm glad I found the right balance of fluff. Thank you for the read and review!
*Sniff*...*siiiiiiigh*...oh, that was lovely. Why can't I find a man who's willing to swallow his pride for me that way (even though I gather Severus almost nearly didn't)?
Response from CharmedForce (Author of So She Dances)
If you can find him, send his twin brother my way please!
It was that moment when he realized she was still looking for him that gave him the strength to cut his pride loose. Most men can't do that even if you held up a neon sign. I like to think that Severus is cut from a better cloth.
Thank you!
So sweet, I especially loved the dancing.
Response from CharmedForce (Author of So She Dances)
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for reading and reviewing!
Nicely constructed. A bit sentimental for my tastes, but still nicely contructed.
Response from CharmedForce (Author of So She Dances)
Thank you. I tried to keep away from the sentimental as much as possible, but I felt that a little bit was needed. Hopefully you agree. =)
I've told you this already, but I'll say it again. Nicely done. I like that he finally found the courage to go to her, and I love that Harry was portrayed this way. :)
Response from CharmedForce (Author of So She Dances)
Thank you. I can only imagine how bothered Harry would be in the beginning, but think given time he would value Hermione more than his own grudges. I doubt he and Severus would ever be friends, but Harry would do what is important to Hermione.
Nice :)
