I have never witnessed a more beautiful sight than the goddess draped over the couch in my sitting room clutching one of the most advanced texts I own; I believe I am jealous of the piece of furniture as well... Sequel to Lullaby and String Quartet.

Reviews for Slow Hands
That was exquisite!
O man, good stuff! You have a wonderful talent for describing the smallest things, and I totally loved this story. Thanks,Sue :o)
ah... how you tease us with sexierthanhell-obsessive!Snape. there is definately a desire for more on the reader's side.
just tell us what you need and rabid fangirls will supply... chocolate? hallucinogens? poetry? let your lurking readers know...
Mood and character rolled together in an interesting way. I wondered how she came to be reading in his sitting room, but the more insistent question in my mind is how would she react if she woke up to find him kneeling and mere inches from her face? People awakening in strange and unexpected circumstances sometimes respond in ways that can't be anticipated, probably because the mind is still a bit foggy for a moment. Quite a few possibilities here. Perhaps you'll develop one. ~
wow... this is interesting! love obssessive!Snape =)
Beautifully crafted moments. To quote Ann Lamott it was like "a moment underwater" the suspended detail was thrilling. I look forward to another chapter!
Ah - this one is just wonderful. You craft an obsessed Snape with such a slow and careful attnetion to detail that he is not only believable - he is also a sympathetic character because you've taken the reader on the journey with him.
I find something sexy about this Snape. Good work. Looking forward to whatever else you have.
Ooh, THAT captures the attention! I like the way your portrayed Snape here--a blend of passion, control, and cunning. Amazing for such a short piece!
Very nice. I wonder what it will be like if he ever tells her how her feels...Thanks for sharing that!

You ARE going to tell us what happens the next night, aren't you?? Pretty please?

I'll do my best, but I haven't followed this up with a complete sequel for a long time. Major writer's block. I'm glad it interested though, and thanks for reviewing!
Yes it was on the obsessive side, but it worked well here. I enjoyed reading this.
Thanks for posting it.

Very happy to hear you enjoyed it. Thanks for reviewing!
It's a little creepy, but I liked it. I like the title, too. We retire like nobody else... *lol*

Ah, a fellow Interpol fan. I love that song, and it seemed appropriate. Glad you liked it even for the creepiness. Killer for hire you know not yourself...Thanks for reviewing!
THIS has to be my alltime favorite piece of your writing. The subtle romance, the obsessive loving... The vaguely dark!Snape. The feeling of that ...crumbling... as he lets himself fall slowly and surely down that slope.
Keep writing! I love it. (even if you're just re-archiving your old works ;D)

Hearing from you always makes me so happy!
Ok, sappy moment over. I'm trying really hard to continue writing, but real life interferes and all that. Thanks as always for the review; it's always real encouragement

I know, I've turned into your personal rabid fangirl. hahaha.
Real life is always full of crap; write whenever you can. It's always a surprise to see things from you, I just don't expect them right away. No pressure.
Oh my gosh....please tell me there's going to be more!

Alas, but I can make no promises, as I've wanted to continue in this 'verse, but have had no luck in removing the giant writer's block interfering with it. I'm glad you liked this part, however. Thanks for reviewing!

I'm speechless.
I love the depth of emotion you're able to bring out in Severus, even without him saying things directly. The yearning and desperation and desire/love so strong that he gets himself as close as possible without her being aware of it.
Wonderful.
Author's Response: Very kind words; they more than make up for the effort of writing it. I'm glad you liked. Thanks for reviewing!
