I'm a 40 something Snapeaholic. My Muggle friends think I'm nutters so I must align myself with those that appreciate his sexy, swishy robes, snarky attitude and velvet voice. *fans self* I have a definite liking for lemondrops and wool socks (really!) and am a bit mischievious at times.

I thought so. I wanted to pair the Potions master with a HP character other than the usual ships. I thought that they would be a good match because they are about the same age and Rosmerta's charming ways may be just the thing to off balance Snape’s cantankerous persona. Plus, one would think that she would be able to hold her own, seeing as she is a proprietor of a pub and must deal with drunk and rowdy customers now and again. In other words, I don’t think she would be a shrinking violet to Snape’s caustic remarks and peevish behavior.

Now, Severus and Rosmerta may be a pairing that some may avoid, but you set this up well. I'd like to see how Rosmerta could make the cantankerous professor smile.
