Reviews for A Walking Shadow
really some interesting writing, I'm not sure i can floow it all. This is an excellent peace of work.
oh yess ,a very interesting question. why not disapparate form Voldy. He made a trap.
well well.
This is sooo interesting.
And how I liked the scene in the garden.
his kiss self-evident.
Him acting out of intition, bringing himself into danger because he didn't want to leave Hermione alone.
He is soo sweet.
Hope they will find much much more answers.
great story.
Thanks so much for sharing.
I do love Dumbledore, I find it amusing that they think they can hide anything from him. I do hope they can find it in themselves to believe in the impossible again, it may be the only thing that can save them.
it happened
and not only her, it is them.
for the last horocrux it is Harry (in an academic way to be seperated from his scar)
Hermione and Severus
how awful
you are so mean!!
But what would HP-fanfiction be without the rough times.
well, they have each other, they will find a way.
I said : They will find a way!!
hope so at least.
it's forgiveness if I say so!
oh these portraits!
they always do gossip!
In another story I am following this also happens all the time.
grr.
And now Dumbledores advices to them both. As if they didn't know their given task already. old boy.
But what was the noise or disturbance coming from?
What WAS IT?
I like their conversations in her head. and him being tickled by her laughter. nice ideas .
Mrs Black will be some problem here? I hope not.
At least this time she has the decency to leave her portrait. Isn't that kind.
I like how the two of them Mrs Black and Hermione made "friends" . Really funny. and some humour is really at the right place in all this dark and deathly revellations.
So the next victim is Minerva. Dear me!
He really hates women!
And always the strong ones.
Will there be a "Hermione" as the result of one of the formulas?
hey? Severus jealeous? of RON? That is fun!
I like how you descirbe and then just sort of fade out.
NIce of you to keep their privat sphere.
Well, a little more lemon squeezing would be nice, I admit.
But your way of just unveiling a little and leaving the rest to wonderful words and ones own imagination is also very inviting.
to become a spy of course.
what else would she want her to do.
and live at Grimmauld Place.
seems like she likes the idea.
Wonder, what Snape will say.
I'm somehow glad, that he didn't have to suffer Voldis punishment.
I am happy to see them use their mirror. A wonderful invention.
Did they thank you for it? They definitely should.
I do!
I'm glad you solved the mysterie of Dumbledore asleep in his portrait. He is faking it, of course. that makes more sense than anything.
hm. he already knows now that Snape and Hermione will be working together, that she found the pattern of the Horocruxes, and that for the un-doing of each one person has to give his life.
When will he "awake" and what will his actions/ orders be.
oh, I love the two Hermione and Snape ,that is.
Her not being a schoolgirl anymore, as Minerva so well observed.
a fight. He sends her into a fight?did he really think she could safe Molly?Well, she managed to in the end.And for the first time I do read of someone of the " good " side is really using the "Avada" and really kills someone.I always wondered, if this would ever happen. In JKRs books I think it didn't. It felt brutal, but under the given circumstances it also felt rather credible.Three powerfull women. A great moment.what will she ask of Hermione, hm, I will not find out.I am very bad at deduction.well, but I can read on! HA!

*whispers so as not to interrupt your reading: I'm really glad you're enjoying the story so far... I should warn you, though, that only half of it has been posted on TPP so far. It is complete - it's just not all here - I'm working on that. :) ~ Ari
the mirror as a means of communication. ( he used to melted fork from his destroying the kitchen form earlier on?)
I was wondering, if his murmuring in her thoughts would work when he was away or if it only worked when close, like legilimence.
oh no! not Molly! this is to bad! well, any name would have been.
*sniff*
what? the patronus did change back?
oh, she forgot one parchment.
oh this is so sad.
people have to die to un-do the horocruxes.
how did you come to this conclusion.
Sometimes I think you are a pupil of Dumbledore and Snape yourself..
why does he send her to the leaky cauldron, I wonder.
quick to the next chapter.
"I had a choice I made it."
And a very wonderful choice it was.
But, oh what a heavy cross to bear.
But a lovely scene you just wrote here! wow!
oh no! this impossible Voldy. always makes himself important at the wrong time. grr
I like the changing moments of revellations. maybe accusatons, deep thoughts, closeness, work to do, and so on. Keeps the thins very active and spinning, never becoming sentimental or one-sided.
yes, he is right, the only thing that kept him sane was the fact, that all vows demanded the same.
povero.
What is happening to her tatoo?
What is it expressing with the cloud?
she not only accepting the task he burdens her with, but even more so: his liberation.
extraordinary.
it draws one really in.
wonderful story.
I am so glad, that I don't have to wait for the update.
unbelievable
just unbelievable.
a unique composition, very own way of seeing Snape or Hermione.
liked his furious act.
wow.
and like her mind, her deductions, how she rips him apart.
And he lets her!
unique.
just read the first 7 chapters.
A very interesting story so far!
wonderful to watch her scientistic mind.
and him! so vulnerable, so open and frank. one woulld never have expected him to be so.
now that he is living between two front lines.
Quick question. I have this story on my keeper list from Ashwinder. Is it being re-edited with new material or is it essentially the same story? If you're re-editing and adding material, I think I would add this one to my keeper list and delete the Ashwinder version. Bron what I've read and compared up until now, they seem to read the same. ^_^

Hullo,

... The only difference between this version and the one on Ashwinder is that I'm keeping a much sharper eye on the commas. Same story, no new words, no new material. Thanks for reading! :) ~ Ari

Okay, thanks. I appreciate the input. By the way, are you ever going to finish "In Spirit"? I miss reading that one. Mew! ^_^
Response from Ariadne AWS (Author of A Walking Shadow)
Yes, definitely. Life has had other plans for me for the past year+, but Mimi curls insistently about my ankles, and it's finally Spring Break, so I'm optimistic. :) I'm glad you like that story; it's dear to my heart. *waves*
Oooh, damn cliffie . Amazing story! I've always enjoyed Egyptian history and mythology. It's neat seeing the correlation.
Loving this story. The thinkiness of it.
And I especially enjoyed the hint of Macbeth.
I love that kiss.
And "medieval" - that made me laugh.
Everyone's getting ready, everyone's waiting. I just hope it works.
Ahhhh! I can't wait to find out what happens next!
Will there be any way for these heavy sacrifices to be spared? It all seems so sad. Such a high price to pay.
Great story. I love Severus and Hermione's speechless conversations.
wonderful! thanks
I keep typing and deleting. Words don't come to me at the moment. I love the story and I guess I'd like to say more but can't find the words. Anyway, I'll keep reading as long as you keep posting.
Beautiful chapter.
Can't wait for more.
Amazing.
