No, no, no, no, no, Severus can not kill Hermione, they need to think of something else.  They are both very inteligent I'm sure they will find a better way, one where no one has to die, no one but the Dark Lord.

I just found this story yesterday and have been reading whenever I had a few spare minutes. It has been compelling. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

I don't know if it was intended, but Mrs. Black was the comic relief for the chapter, at least for me.

It would not have been out of place on a Gringott's goblin, and, on the youthful face of Hermione Granger, it deeply disturbed everyone who'd ever seen it.

This is interesting I like where it is going so far, it wasn't what I first expected when I started reading. :)
