This particular idea would not have worked as well in third person.     I was sad that your HG suffered the fate of Neville's parents, sad that RW fell, but as you wrote, glad that he hadn't lived to see HG in her condition. I found it intriguing to see who you decided lived and died in this piece.    I love the paradox of the birth revealing how life changes with the viewer's perception. Nicely done.

So beautiful, yet so sad. You can feel Harry's pain as he talks about his losses, especially those of Ron and Hermione ...but thankfully he and Ginny are together, happily married and have two beautiful baby girls who are named for their respective grandmothers.
