OK, I see what you mean.  I wouldn't have read this normally, and I guess you may not have written this normally--but muses can be annoying!Well, you didn't glamorize or romanticize the non-con which some of these other fics do (and that's my main bugbear). The sex and all around it was well executed.You characterized Hermione perfectly, and Snape was also done very well.  The ambiguity at the end was very clever.

I have to believe that he is good otherwise it would break my heart. I wished you wrote more to Confirm this. You didn't need to finish the story (although that would be nice), just evidences of hope.
